Family & Dog Friendly Oceanfront

'Carolina Dawn' is a comfortably furnished and fully equipped oceanfront duplex (East side). Just steps from the beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Emerald Isle, this is one of the most family friendly beaches in the Southeast. This lovely home sleeps 11 people and is equipped with free wifi and cable tv. There are 2 oceanfront primary suites with king-sized beds, bathrooms and private decks. A third oceanfront room has a queen-sized bed and oceanfront deck. The two other rooms offer views of the sound. One has a queen sized bed. The other has a full sized bed and a twin bed - perfect for kids. The updated kitchen is fully stocked and offers a great view of the ocean as you cook. The dining room table seats 8 and the oversized bar seats 4. There's a charcoal grill along with an assortment of boogie boards, sand toys and more. A private, spray off area and outdoor shower (with hot & cold water and a hand-held shower head) make clean-up easy. Up to two well-behaved dogs (depending on size, breed) are welcome with a $150 non-refundable deposit. Other amenities include flat screen "smart" TVs, DVD players.

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please put linens/towels into provided laundry bags by cleaning service. If none are available, please use the pillowcases.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. Since this property is on a septic system, this can cause clogs and damage.

Please do not exceed 12 people on the 1st and 2nd floor decks and no more than 6 people on the 3rd floor decks.

Garbage collection is on Monday and Friday; recycling is on Wednesday. Please roll out before 8am the next morning or items may start to accumulate.

We had an amazing trip! The house and location is fantastic! We saw dolphins from the porch and played in the water and on the beach. There are great restaurants nearby. We prepared meals in the kitchen. We really enjoyed every moment. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This is a great dog friendly property right on the beach! Kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. I wish the first floor balcony had closures so that a dog could be on that balcony. It looks like there used to be some. The gate we brought was not wide enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again:

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The views are lovely. The home is far enough from the shops and entertainment that it's nice and quiet but still just ten minutes to everything in Emerald Isle. Loved having our own private beach access.
