Check out our Jan-Feb savings deals! Come see us while the streets of Gatlinburg are laid back and more inviting. Moonfall Cottage is a veteran owned property. I purchased the cottage at first site just because I was drawn into it's inviting, homey, welcoming energy and was so spotlessly clean; if I didn't know better, I'd think the former owners cleaned the dirt in the yard prior to the sale! This dreamy little cottage offers easy driving access, with no steep winding mountain roads. One floor living with no stairs makes our cottage ideal for everyone. Hardwood floors throughout gives that warm make yourself at home feeling. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare that perfect meal or light snack is in the pantry. A Keurig coffee brewer along with coffee grounds, coffee pods, creams and sugars are provided in the kitchen. Not into coffee? We also offer a wide selection of teas for your enjoyment. Only the finest bed linens are stretched on top of the super comfortable/Willenburg Tufted queen bed and you will find soft snuggly towels in the bathroom. Extra linens; if needed for the Murphy bed are provided in the living room closet. The bathroom has all the amenities of home with a hair dryer, a variety of soaps, shampoos and toilet paper. The living room has a loveseat sofa so comfortable that it envelopes you in cozy comfort. Two recliners make watching your favorite program or movie a special treat. The 42" TV is equipped with Roku so you don't have to miss your favorite program here in the mountains. High speed wifi is available throughout the house and on the outdoor patio. A gas grill is located on the patio with table and chairs and umbrella to enjoy the outdoor dining experience. Laura is a great host! She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. If we’re ever in the Gatlinburg area again we’ll definitely stay here…very peaceful!
It was better than advertised. Exceptionally clean, well decorated, very pet friendly, and especially comfortable. The patio and outside lawn were lovely.
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Moon fall Cottage. Everything was so welcoming and comfortable for Darrell and I as well as Marti our cockapoo. We had every convenience we could have needed, the location was perfect and our host was very accommodating. We all can’t wait to visit again!
Beautiful area in the Arts & Crafts District. Easy to find. Cottage was well stocked, this was our second time there, we loved it so much we came back! Host answers your questions right away, communication was great. We definitely recommend this very charming cottage.
This cottage was absolutely the best! Everything we needed for a relaxing week away from work. We enjoyed every minute of it and even got to see a bear! Thank you so much !!
Incredible cottage! Extremely close to Gatlinburg and Piegon Forge yet secluded and relaxing. Clean, stocked to the brim with amenities, they thought of everything! Beds were very comfortable. Our pooches enjoyed the space as well and loved the wooded environment. Will stay again! Five stars
This dog friendly cottage is perfect for a couple with or without 2 kids and a furbaby. It was very quiet and convenient to Gatlinburg. We came in for a fall weekend getaway and enjoyed the close proximity to the area fun without breaking the bank.
Perfect little cabin. Plenty of room for our family of 3 and our small dog. Used VRBO’s special offer and had a dog crate delivered right to our door so we didn’t have to bring one. The kitchen has everything you need! The bedroom is spacious. There are two Roku TVs and WiFi that all worked well. Also equipped with a washer and dryer which is a must for us! It is in close proximity to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, yet very secluded on a lane where there are only 4 houses. Only saw one vehicle pass the cabin the entire time we were there. The cabin’s cleanliness was above our expectations. Amazing destination. Highly recommend!!
This place is top notch! The host thought of absolutely everything. Its spotless, smells amazing and just adorable. We would definitely stay here again. This was my husband's 50th birthday trip and it was perfect!!

This cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. In fact, it is one of the most throughly stocked rentals we have ever stayed in. It is also the most pet-friendly rental we’ve ever stayed in! Thank you, Laura, for sharing your home.

A great accommodation for exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park! We loved its secluded & quiet location outside of the hustle & bustle of Gatlinburg. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay…the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend this property!
There was everything in this little cottage you could need. Coffee, tea, sugar, powder creamer where all there. Pots, pans, and utensils all ready for cooking. Bathroom was stocked with everything you could need. Firepit in the backyard with wood provided. The cottage provides you your own little piece of heaven for your stay. Convenient to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We plan to be back!!!
The house was clean, smelled great, the bed was comfortable, the seating in the living room was comfortable, & we loved the option to heat the bathroom. We’re so excited to stay again for our honeymoon in June!

About the host
Your host
We are originally from middle TN and moved here to enjoy a slower pace and to appreciate the surrounding beauty within the still quiet voices of these mountains.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is a dying breed, it's quiet, no nearby houses or other rentals; it's peaceful and you are surrounded by blankets of green, nature and trees.
What makes this property unique
Property is in a quiet, secluded wooded area. The road is approximately 800 ft from a main road; not on a steep mountain, no winding, narrow curves to navigate. Parking for 2 cars on flat surface close to entry door, no steps or stairs to climb. The cottage is perfect for those of us who occasionally need to use walkers, canes etc...
