This lovely one bedroom condo has everything you need: It has a beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances and granite top, a large bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, dresser and large closets, and finally a comfortable living room with a fireplace, sofa, chairs and sliding door to the balcony. Oh and both the living room and bedroom have outstanding views of the ocean and the Oceanside Pier. It is a beautiful location with gardens, a koi pond, and a large swimming pool and hot tub.
There is a nice walkway by the beach that can take you to the pier and to the center of town. Harbor Town is a very short walk over the bridge heading north on Pacific St. Both Oceanside and Harbor Town have good restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Oceanside Broiler. It is on the boat harbor and has excellent seafood as well as steaks.
We were fortunate to catch the season’s final production, The Man of La Mancha, at the Brooks Theatre. It is a small theater but provides gigantic live entertainment. Big thanks to Paul, a local resident at the condo, who told us about the theater and gave us a “friends” discount! We spent our last day driving up to Temecula and visiting a few of their wineries. It is only a 45 minute drive. This was my first time there and was pleasantly surprised. Whether you want a Beach Getaway or a place you can call home while you explore the area and all it has to offer, this is one great place to stay. Oh yes, and a big thank you to Robyn and her generous goodie basket!
