Located in the gated Queens Grant community, The Canal House is an immaculately clean and stylishly furnished 3 bed/3 bath townhome ready to host you and your family. Sandwiched between the Ocean and the Sound directly on a canal, you truly get the best of everything!

A twin bedroom and full bathroom with walk-in shower, along with a spacious living area, kitchen, deck, and sound access are the highlights of the first floor. As the end unit, the living area is full of great light and an unimpeded view directly out to Topsail Sound!

Up the stairs, you'll find the owner's suite with it's own deck and the same great view of Topsail Sound, as well as an en suite bathroom with walk-in dual head shower boasting a river rock floor. The 3rd bedroom includes a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo.

Outdoors, you can enjoy the sun and views from the deck in the Owner's Suite, or sit, eat and relax in the shade of the deck on the first floor. A patio under the first floor deck includes more shaded seating, a porch swing, a grill and a drop-down table for outdoor eating...we recommend laying down some newspaper and dumping out a large low country boil or steam pot to enjoy with friends and family.

Steps from the deck/patio you'll have deep water sound access from the canal. The "day" docks are perfect for mooring your boat during your stay, while the floating dock offers a perfect spot to put in a kayak, canoe, or paddle board. If you bring a boat, Queens Grant has its own private boat ramp and trailer parking/storage that you are welcome to use during your stay. You can be out of your bed, on the boat tied in the canal, and on your way to your favorite fishing spot in a matter of minutes each morning.

A newly renovated pool and clubhouse just a few steps out the door provide a place to hangout for those less interested in the salt water adventures. Plenty of chairs and tables for enjoying a day by the pool, and a playground and basketball court are nearby for fun and games as well.

All of that, and the main attraction, the beach, is still just a few steps away. Load up our beach cart and head just past the pool to the Queens Grant beachfront property where you'll enjoy private access to the beach. Spend all day lounging in the sand and then come back home to the soundside for dinner and sunset views over the water. It's the best of both worlds!

We do have security cameras on the property, one located in the carport with a view of the driveway and street, and another on the back deck with a view of the sound and canal. The cameras are all aimed towards public areas of the neighborhood and do not view or monitor any spaces that our guests would be using privately. They are used only to check weather conditions and to confirm the presence of our cleaning and maintenance partners between guest visits.
