Wake up to an orchestra of birds and watch the hummingbirds come right up to the front deck.

Start your day with some hot coffee on the porch and watch the sun come up over the mountains.

Stay at the Honey Bear cabin in the woods just minutes from beautiful Lake Watauga, great hiking and enjoy all that nature has to offer here in the mountains of Tennessee.

The cabin has a nice deck under a canopy of trees for morning yoga, a picnic area and fireplace for cold days.

The space
Modern cabin with all the amenities tucked away in the forest. A King bed in the loft, queen sized bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. A large 6ft soaking tub. Nice view on the front deck and privacy under a canopy of trees in the back.

There are many fun activities in the area Appalachian Trail, Doe Mountain Recreation Area, ATV, Bike trails, Watauga Lake, Virginia Creeper Trail, Vineyard, Hiking, Nature, Fishing, and Waterfalls.

This is the second time we stayed in this unit. We had issues with cleanliness the last time, attributed it to a simple oversight and when we contacted the management company, they fixed it promptly. HOWEVER for this stay, the same cleanliness issues arose but worse. We both stepped on broken glass within moments of each other. A medium shard of glass was so deep in my toe that I had to use my wife’s needlepoint tweezers to get it out. She was able to remove hers by hand. We both were bleeding. After getting our shoes back on, we did some looking and the floor mat in the kitchen and all around it had broken glass. It was underneath, in it, and around it. It’s clear the cleaning company didn’t pick up the floor mat and clean underneath it or on it. They charge us an arm and a leg for “cleaning” but this unit is anything but. I texted the number that was sending us reminders about checking in like I did last time, and never heard anything from anybody.

November vacation at Blue Mountain Beach

It is always so clean and very well maintained. Our children and grandchildren love it and aren't interested in going anywhere else. The staff at Your Friend at the Beach are wonderful? Nancy really is our friend at the beach. Adagio is in a great area with many great restaurants. We would definitely recommend the Adagio and Your Friend at the Beach.

Fabulous five star beach front condo complex

The property was beautiful, the condo and the complex, nice pools, and the heated pool was actually heated, I’ve stay at place before where the pool was advertised has heated but still chilly. The hot tub was gigantic, like a mini pool. The beach was absolutely beautiful, peaceful for walks and enjoying the sunrise/sunset. The condo was just as advertised and has all the needs of home away from home, kitchen well supplied. Ice maker was fantastic!!!!not sure what else to say l, everything was perfect.

The unit was clean and well furnished. The only problem was that they don’t allow much room for renters to bring their own umbrellas and chairs to the beach.

We have always stayed in homes, but loved this condo and hope to visit again. The condo is in a great location close to the pool and beach access. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking at home a breeze. The decor was beautiful with plenty of space for our party of 7. A great time was had by all.
