Rivers Rest - May Special - Free Activity

Finally, you have that time away, and you are looking to relax sitting on a porch listening to the river flow by and having a cup of coffee. Perhaps you are seeking the wonderful fresh smells of the mountains? Sit on the porch with friends and a glass of our local wine.

May Special - Choose One Free Activity out of three offers. One guest receives free admission with a minimum of two participants for same activity. May Special for a Free Activity is valid for reservations with arrival date by May 31, 2024. Activities include a choice of Canopy Zip Line Tour (with additional discounts for your other guests), Panning for Gemstones or Escape Room Challenge located in Alpine Helen. Only One Free Activity per Reservation. Must mention that you would like to participate in our "May Free Activity" special in guest comments or notes when booking online. The coupons will be sent to your email address as soon as we have all requested info and the reservation is paid in full.

At River's Rest you have all the conveniences of home with plenty of living room seating, a gas log fireplace and a television on the mantel. The kitchen boasts of full size appliances, including a dishwasher. Choose the standard 12-cup drip or the Keurig one-cup coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for convenience. The dining area has chairs for six guests with more seating on the porch at the pine table with benches. The rocking chairs, glider settee and tables are an Amish wood design. There is an electric grill, too!

The master bedroom features a king bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower and a jetted garden tub. The guest bedroom has a set of bunk beds with queen size mattresses on both top and bottom. The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. The upstairs porch has a hammock and two hanging egg swing chairs for relaxation.

A short walk puts you in the downtown area with many options for dining. The walk back to the property is a lovely path along the river. If you are planning all of these relaxing moments, then Rivers Rest is the place for you.

Rivers Rest is now pet-friendly! A one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

Relaxing location but close to it all

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. AShort8-12 minute walk into town. The sounds of the River made this rental so relaxing. Perfect amount of amenities in the rental, lots of kitchen tools and a few extras left by other guest but you will need to go to the store for other basics. Beds were comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedrooms were big and so were the bathrooms. The only recommendation I have is better window coverings as they don't shutout enough light in my opinion. The driveway is very steep and a little nerve racking to back out of but we figured out to out to handle it pretty quickly. It is short and steep and the river is at the bottom. Very close to Betty's store and the Go-Kart / Arcade. You can walk from the rental to the other end of Helen on a nice 30 minute walk. We would definitely rent again.

Great location

We enjoyed being close to fishing as well as close to town. Wonderfully warm cabin that made us feel right at home.

Great family get away

Christmas trip with our two college aged “kids”. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy sports on the tv or play games at the kitchen table. Sound of the rushing river while sleeping was awesome! Unit was very clean and other than needing at least one additional dish towel and a dish rag or two everything was perfect. Short walk into Helen. Would highly recommended!

Beautiful Townhouse

Beautiful secluded hide away right on the river. It’s decorated so cute with all the bears motif. It’s very clean & has plenty of cozy furniture. Loved the automatic gas fireplace!!!
