Coastal Cottage - Close to Gulf Shores Beaches/Attractions!

Classic, coastal cottage. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores in walking distance to our beautiful white sand beaches. Comfortable cottage sleeps 4 guests - 2 private bedrooms (queen sized bed in each) and one full bathroom. Public beach access, popular restaurants, and shops just blocks away. Easy driving distance to Gulf State Park, Waterville, mini golf, OWA amusement complex, outlet shopping, sports complexes, and more! This cozy cottage comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults and is equipped with all of the comforts of home.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include: free Wi-Fi, 2 smart tv's (no cable), fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom.

New territory

We never stayed in this part of the country before but we’re impressed with numerous restaurants and places to shop. The house we were in is an older home but was very comfortable. A gate for the deck stairs would be nice as we had a small dog, which would’ve allowed the dog to roam around the deck.

Nice family home

When were looking for a quiet place near the beach and this was perfect! All the comforts needed in a compact home. Our second time to stay!

Cleanliness Lacking

The location was good, near restaurants and activities. When we arrived there was a layer of sand on the bedspread and then the sheets were stained and didn't look like they had been washed. When we contacted the property manager and sent her pictures. She just said they would pass it along to the cleaning crew. No apology and no one assisted us. We went ahead and washed them ourselves the first night of our arrival so we could sleep. I also went and bought my own blanket. The next day we still did not hear from anyone and reached back out to the property manager. We did not receive a reply. Around 4:00 or so that afternoon, someone from the cleaning crew came and asked what happened and gave us a new sheet set. Side note the coffee machine was also filthy inside. It was overall disappointing that the property manager gave no apology and was not timely in helping us out. Starting our trip by doing dirty laundry wasn't what we wanted, but some kind words would have gone a long way in how we felt about our stay.
