Wonderful location.....And horses too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one month stay at the Lazy S Ranch and cannot say enough good things about it's hosts Susan and Bill. We couldn't have asked for a better location to call home base. We appreciated the peace and quiet of being out of town yet also centrally located to explore all that the entire area has to offer. The home is spacious and modern. There is a very nice lanai that overlooks horse pastures which offers a peaceful place to kick back and relax. Did I mention there are horses too! We really enjoyed making friends with the owners six horses. They just LOVE carrots and apples! Susan and Bill are wonderful hosts and are always very friendly and approachable. We can highly recommend The Lazy S Ranch and are looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed for a month

Property worked out very well for our two dogs due to the large front yard and fenced in back yard area. Vinyl flooring made for easy cleaning. Location is ten minutes from beaches and close to restaurants yet the back patio area is very private and relaxing. Owners are upgrading to Comcast internet which is needed. Current satellite internet was not sufficient.

My husband Bill & I enjoy the country life and relaxing on our small horse ranch. We also love to travel and experience new places, but we always love coming back to our quaint little town of Englewood which has so much to offer and is off the beaten path, but so close to everything.

Why they chose this property

This place is so unique in the fact that we are among an Equine community with miles of sate riding trails, yet only a few miles to the beach, fine dining and a boaters paradise. Just a few miles from Venice and Sarasota.

What makes this property unique

We just love the serenity of the country with the convenience of the social community so near by. Our home is very comfortable and we enjoy hosting many family gatherings.
