One of a kind, quiet and whimsical home in the Historic District of Jim Thorpe. Our High Street House is located in one of the best locations in town, just steps away from Broadway! This home features off street parking, fast WiFi, cable, video surveillance, central heating and cooling, beautiful blue stone patio with gas lighting, modern décor, and a new washer & dryer for 3+ night stays. There is also indoor storage for your outdoor adventure gear! You will not be disappointed

Our Blueberry guest house on High street is located in the quiet section of Historic Jim Thorpe. It is off of the beaten path, and away from the crowded sidewalks on Broadway... This street is truly one of the best kept secrets in town!
Our home is over 200 years old and was originally built and owned by the Leigh Coal and Navigation company as a housing unit for the anthracite coal miners. There were actually as many as 13 people living in this home at one time!
Seeing the potential that this house and location had to offer (after-all, this is where we fell in love with Jim Thorpe), we enthusiastically set out to make one of the most unique and whimsical homes in town.
No detail has been overlooked... We want your stay here to be perfect, in every way!!

Very cool house upgraded nicely. It provided all our needs to enjoy the Jim Thorpe area. We visit Jim Thorpe every year as we enjoy bike riding the surrounding trails. It was nice that there is bike storage available in a street accessible storage room below the house. The house is super clean and comfortable throughout. A couple of things to be aware of is that the one bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. So when showering and dressing can require slight inconvenience to some. Also if some people require a visit to the bathroom in the middle of the night it could be a journey down the stairs. The street the house is on is quaint and quiet while heading towards Race street in one direction is very steep. We did experience a few large ants in the kitchen and living room areas as well. Which is expected in a wooded type area I suppose.

Quick getaway in Jim Thorpe

The house was comfortable, had a ton of charm and the location was great! Very walkable to restaurants, bars and local attractions. Host communication was fantastic. We were only in town for 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to town!
