Main Bedroom: Features a plush Queen bed and a private entrance.
Secondary Room: Features a comfortable Queen sofa bed, a secondary private entrance, and a dedicated sitting area that doubles as an inspiring workspace.
Dining & Amenities: While the cottage does not have a full kitchen, we’ve curated a convenient "Adventure Kitchenette" to fuel your days:
Essentials: Keurig coffee station, microwave, and mini-fridge with freezer. Outside in summer there is a barbecue.
Tableware: Plates, bowls, mugs, and silverware provided.
Après-Ski Ready: Wine glasses and a corkscrew are at the ready for your evening toast.

Winter-Ready Access: Forget the stress of snow! We are located directly across the river from Highway 89 (a high-priority plow zone). Our street and driveway are plowed first thing every morning by a local resident—meaning you’ll be the first ones at the resort while others are still digging out.

About the host
Hosted by Hans Wiest
Hello and Welcome!
A little bit about us, we are life long Bay Area natives growing up across the street from each other in Oakland, CA. In the Bay Area we love hiking through Redwood Park in the Oakland Hills, wandering along the Embarcadero in SF, and exploring new restaurants in Berkeley. We are avid travelers with some of our favorite adventures being hiking the alps in Germany, crawling through the pyramids in Egypt, and taking a hot air balloon trip over the fairy chimneys in Turkey.
While we love the pace and the culture of the Bay Area, Squaw Valley is our oasis outside of the city. We love being able to share our little bit of paradise with you. We enjoy getting the day started with a pastry and coffee from Tahoe House Bakery, biking from the cottage down the Truckee River, Sunday Brunch at Sunnyside Restaurant on Lake Tahoe, and going to Little Truckee Ice Creamery on Donner Lake.
We hope that you enjoy your stay!
