Amazing view from bedroom and living room. Large 2 BR / 2 bathroom apartment, very convenient and practical. Close to bakery and supermarket. Close to highlights to visit such as Veurne, de Panne, Ten Duinen Abbey, Paul Delvaux museum etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.

Beach and Action

The Location was very well equiped with everything you need to have a nice vacation. The Appartement was only 10 m from the beach with an incredible view from the balcony. It gave us a good Base for our Trips to explore the Coast of the Dünkirchen- area with ITS historical Monuments and typical kitchen in many lovely Restaurants

We only stayed one night, as we were passing through the area, but wished we could have stayed longer. The suite was clean and modern and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Being at the edge of town it was quieter, but still an easy walk to restaurants. The surprise highlight was the fireworks show that evening that we got to watch from the balcony.

The paperwork gives the address for 6 blocks of flatsThe key box number did not work on 12 boxes One telephone did not work, but the other telephone number did work, and we were shown the flat. This flat needs a meet & greet The Flat is good, you need to take all the sheets for bedding, bathroom, and towels & soaps to very close to the beach, sailing club close out each day

Die Drei-Zimmer-Wohnung (2 Schlafzimmer, Wohnküche, 2 Toiletten, 1 Wannenbad, 1 Duschbad) im fünften Stock einer großen Wohnanlage mit Aufzug verfügt über zwei Balkone. Im dritten Schlafzimmer steht ein Einzelbett und es ist eigentlich der Verbindungsflur zwischen Schlafzimmer und Bad. Der Fahrradabstellraum ist nicht für E-Bikes geeignet, da die Fahrräder an Haken aufgehängt werden. Es gibt keine Waschmaschine und auch einen Hinweis auf einen Waschraum im Haus haben wir nicht gefunden.Leider haben wir die Wohnung in keinem guten Zustand vorgefunden:Alle Polster von Stühlen & Couch waren fleckig, ebenso das Bettzeug (Kopfkissen, Bettdecke, Matratzenschoner). Unter den Betten lag nicht nur eine dicke Staubschicht, sondern auch eine alte Plastikflasche und ein Weinkorken. Die Arbeitsfläche in der Küche war klebrig, eine Herdplatte verkrustet; in den Schubladen, in der Mikrowelle und im Ofen lagen Krümel. Alle Weingläser waren fleckig, ebenfalls viele Besteckteile und Töpfe. Die Fugen in Bad und Küche waren schimmelig, die Lüfter vollkommen zugestaubt.Die Leuchtmittel der Dunstabzugshaube und des Kühlschranks funktionierten nicht. An der Theke löste sich die Leiste, woran man sich verletzen kann; der Bodenbelag war löchrig, der Esstisch und Sessel wackelig; die Fenster im Wohnbereich war undicht, die Balkonverkleidung gesprungen.Die bis dahin zügige Kommunikation brach nach dem Versenden der angeforderten „Beweisfotos“ abrupt ab.

Man kann das Gebäude auch nach hinten verlassen und ist direkt am Strand. Perfekt. Viele Restaurants vor Ort. Supermarkt schnell mit Auto erreichbar. Bäcker ganz in der Nähe.Parken: Zur Wohnung gehört kein fester Parkplatz. Wir waren in der Ferienzeit da und hatten nie ein Problem einen freien Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden.Sauberkeit: Das was sauber sein muss, ist auch sauber.Ausstattung : Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles da was man braucht.Betten : Sind absolut in Ordnung. Das Doppelbett ist eher schmal. Es gibt eine große Bettdecke die man sich also teilen muss. Wer das nicht mag, sollte eine eigene mitbringen.Allgemein: Die Wohnung ist schön geräumig. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer plus weiteren Raum mit einer Toilette. Es ist ruhig in der Wohnung. Man hört nur das Rauschen der Wellen .Sämtliches Infomaterial in Wohnung ist nur auf französisch.WLAN einwandfrei.Im Ort selber ist nicht viel los. Der Strand ist absolut nicht überfüllt. Das ist sehr schön.Fazit: Besonders aufgrund der Lage ist die Wohnung sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden sie wieder buchen.Kleiner Tipp: Man sollte die französische Sprache ein wenig beherrschen. Das Klischee, dass Franzosen gerne nur ihre eigene Sprache sprechen, stimmt wirklich . Ist aber nicht schlimm

Schöne Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Wir haben als Familie einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt in der Wohnung gehabt. Die Wohnung liegt super, direkt am Strand, und alle Geschäfte, Restaurants und Becker in fußläufig Entfernung.Wir waren zu viert, eine fünfte Person, hätte aber problemlos in dem Zwischenraum vor dem Schlafzimmer schlafen kann. Wir fanden es auch sehr angenehm, zwei Badezimmer zu haben.Man muss auf jeden Fall Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen, das geht aus dem Inserat nicht so hervor. Im „Elternschlafzimmer „ ist eine große Bettdecke, dafür muss spezielle Bettwäsche in Übergröße mitgebracht werden. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Filter Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle und Backofen. Es gibt allerdings keinen Pürierstab oder Mixer, wenn man so etwas benötigt.Die Wohnung hat ein gut funktionierendes WLAN. Auf dem Fernseher kann man auch Filme streamen.Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war super. Wir hatten einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort, der superschnell auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert hat. Das parken auf der Straße war problemlos möglich. Wir waren allerdings in der Nebensaison dort, ich weiß nicht, wie es im Sommer in der Hochsaison dort aussieht mit Parkplätzen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Bray-Dunes.... auch wenn wir am ersten Abend dachten, wir fahren direkt wieder.... wir hatten nicht bedacht, dass Mitte/Ende Oktober mitten in der Woche keine Reisezeit für die Nordsee ist. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, die Sauberkeit der Ecken und des Fußbodens überall ließ etwas zu Wünschen übrig. Ausstattung war toll, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Ich als wenig Frankreicherfahrene hatte natürlich die falsche Bettwäsche dabei.... die französischen Decken sind 200x200!! Aber sonst gerne jederzeit wieder!

Schöne Tage am Meer

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade mit einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Vom Wohnzimmer und von einem Schlafzimmer hat man Zugang zum Balkon mit Meerblick. Das zweite Schlafzimmer geht nach hinten raus und hat auch einen Balkon. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, hat zwei Badezimmer und ein Gäste-WC. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der CheckIn erfolgte nicht durch den Eigentümer und reduzierte sich auf die allernotwendigste Kommunikation. Wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn auch die Bettwäsche zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Die Wohnung ist 70 qm groß. Geschäfte und Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit diese Wohnung wieder mieten.
