Nice and well equipped house near Porches

We had a very nice stay in a well equipped and well maintained house. All necessary equipment is available for a one month vacation. The communication with the owner and the house manager was very good.

Great stay at Porches , Algarve

We had an excellent holiday in the Algarve staying at this property. Owner Karl-Heinze provided us with all the information required to ensure a smooth and effortless check-in. Property manager Jessica guided us into the property and was available to sort out any issues very quickly and efficiently. The Villa is well maintained and has all the amenities including wifi to ensure a comfortable stay. The cats Adi and Stocksel kept the children entertained. A bottle of wine with crisps on arrival was very thoughtful. We were very happy with our stay and holiday - would certainly recommend to other travellers .

Excellent experience

We stayed at this villa for the month of February 2018 and loved every minute of it. It is spacious, modern, comfortable and well appointed. Jessica and Ana were very attentive to us and Karl-Heinz was only an email message away and was always pleasant and helpful. He is a real gentleman. We felt very pampered. The experience was like being at home, only better. Porches Velho is well located close to amazing beaches, great shopping and yet offers the benefit of a peaceful countryside. If I were to recommend any one place to stay in the Algarve, this would be it. Thank you for making our first trip to the Algarve a memorable one.

Lovely villa, ideally located for the beaches

We stayed (family of four) for two weeks in August. The villa and its grounds are superb with plenty of space for all of us. Our boys loved the pool and there was plenty of room to soak up the sun (it was very hot - mid 30's) without being overlooked by any neighbours. The villa is a short drive from the many beautiful beaches in the area and getting to the super markets and local markets is easy too - you will need a car. The bedrooms were all excellent with air con (thankfully :-)) and the kitchen / cooking facilities (including the bbq) were perfect. Karl-Heinz is a perfect host and answered any questions we had very quickly. All in all we had an amazing holiday and the villa was everything we were hoping for. As I said to Karl-Heinz, we will be back.

Lovely villa, great pool and gardens and quiet neighbourhood

This is really homely villa with lovely large gardens and pool. We really liked the fact that you're not hemmed in or overlooked by anyone. The pool looks out over countryside which makes it feel really open. There are three bedrooms (FYI - access to one bedroom is via another) and all are comfortable. The bedrooms have air conditioning - the main lounge doesn't but with the fan on it remains cool. The BBQ area is great and we used that all the time. It's real outdoor living. It was also lovely looking after the resident cats. Communications with the owner and the local property manager was great - they were both very responsive. If you want a quiet, homely villa with a great pool and outdoor living - this place should be on your list.

Nice house but had several issues

We were so excited to stay at this beautiful home but we had some difficulties. The first issue came after we booked this property through VRBO the owner sent us a separate contract stating we owed an additional large sum of cash for a cleaning fee. I'm fine with paying a cleaning fee if I know about it in advance of booking and can plan it into the budget. We went ahead with the reservation anyways and paid the extra fee when we arrived. The house was as pretty as it looks in pictures but is a good 10 to 15 min drive from beaches and from town which didn't bother us too much as we were looking forward to relaxing at the property. My husband planned on getting some work done while we were there but the internet is so slow it was completely unusable. We couldn't even use it to research restaurants or things to do in the area it was sooooo slow. And our last issue was Mosquitos. They were miserable. We couldn't even go outside in the morning or evening to eat on the patio. We couldn't even open the windows to let any breeze in. Basically we were trapped inside and even then we all got eaten alive. We couldn't wait to leave. The first night my 10 year old son got over 150 bites. We had to take him to the doctor to get creams. When we showed the property manager he tried to tell us that he had chicken pox. Not sure what the owner can do about the bugs but just wanted to make other travelers aware as I would never stay here again.

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderbar ruhig auf einem großen, teilweise kultivierten Grundstück. Man ist aber in 5 Minuten in A.d. Pera und alle Supermärkte aber auch viele Restaurants sind schnell und gut erreichbar. Ein Mietwagen ist trotzdem unverzichtbar. Das Haus hat viele Sitz- und Liegeflächen und ist herrlich eingewachsen. Die Übergabe klappte bestens, schnell und unkompliziert - der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich - er fragt nach und kümmert sich aus der Ferne um seine Gäste. Die beiden Katzen sind nette Mitbewohner. Sie gewöhnen sich auch an die Aufstehzeiten der Gäste und wecken einen nach ein paar Tagen auch nicht mehr mit lautem Miauen um 7:30 Uhr auf. Das Haus ist komplett eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts und weder Geschirr noch Besteck sind abgezählt- man merkt dass die Eigentümer auch selber ihr Haus nutzen. Der Fernseher ist modern, das Internet funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Inventar ist nicht super neu sondern benutzt, aber voll funktionsfähig. Der Pool wird mit Chlor desinfiziert, welches der regelmäßig erscheinende Poolmann ordentlich reinschüttet. Liegen und Sonnenschirme sind ausreichend vorhanden wie auch Gartenstühle und Auflagen - alles üppig vorrätig....wie überhaupt alles vorhanden war, was in der Hausbeschreibung steht. Die Dachterasse bietet eine herrliche Aussicht - ist aber nicht tatsächlich in Gebrauch. Insgesamt ein wirklich schönes, komplettes Haus in einer wunderbaren Oase der Ruhe - perfekt zum Runterkommen und Erholen.

Voll ausgestattet, man braucht wirklich nur die persönlichen Dinge (Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Pooltücher, Gewürze, Seife, Spülmaschinentabs, Geschirrtücher, Mückenabwehr, Filtertüten, Wäschespinne, WLAN...wirklich ALLES vorhanden) Super ruhige Lage Pool mit bis zu 1,8m Tiefe Schöner Garten mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten alle Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage Waschmaschine vorhanden- ohne Mietwagen geht nichts- Fußmarsch zum Strand scheint eher was für sportlich Ambitionierte zu sein- Grundsubstanz vom Haus zeigt leichte Verschleißerscheinungen

Ein schöner Familienurlaub

Wir waren im Juni zwei Wochen in dieser schönen Villa. In dieser Zeit haben wir uns sehr gut erholen können. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Garten, in dem es immer etwas neues zu entdecken gab, mit einem wunderschönen Pool mit Dusche.Auf dem Gartengrill haben wir Fisch und Fleisch zubereitet. Zum Essen haben wir immer einen schönen Platz gefunden. Die beiden Katzen haben uns durch den Tag begleitet und uns morgens als erstes begrüßt.Die Betten sind bequem und wir haben gut darin geschlafen. Ein Zimmer ist als Durchgangszimmer angelegt.Der Abschied ist uns schwer gefallen und wir können uns einen weiteren Aufenthalt gut vorstellen.Der Eigentümer ist sehr aufmerksam und hat uns alle Fragen schnell und gut beantwortet.Vielen Dank!

Sehr schönes Grundstück

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen in einer Sackgasse. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sauber und funktional. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt und man findet immer einen Platz zum verweilen. Der Check in hat super funktioniert und die Verwalterin Jessica war immer telefonisch erreichbar (z.B. Handtuchwechsel). Die Hausbucht ist über Wanderpfade in einer halben Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar. Dort wartet ein Traumstrand. Nach Albufeira sind es 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Es gibt im Haus ein großes Verzeichnis mit Restaurants und Ausflugszielen Alles in allem einen sehr schöner Urlaub und absolut weiter zuempfehlen

Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus!

Im September 2024 hatten wir traumhafte Wochen an der Algarve verbracht , einen gossen Anteil daran war das wundervolle und sehr gepflegte Ferienhaus in Porches ! In ruhiger und zentraler Lage konnten wir alles sehr genießen, den großen Pool , die sonnigen Terrassen , die großzügige Innenausstattung und nicht zuletzt das morgendliche Konzert der beiden süßen Kater ! Die freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war für einige Unternehmungen sehr hilfreich ! Wir sagen vielen Dank und wollen bestimmt wiederkommen! Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen! Träumchen

Wir verbrachten 9 wundervolle Tage in diesem schönen Objekt. Der stets blaue Himmel und strahlender Sonnenschein liessen selbst in der Weihnachtszeit ein tägliches Frühstück auf der Sonnenterrasse zu. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt, das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir können das Objekt vorbehaltlos empfehlen!

Schöne Tage in Porches Velho

Das Haus und Grundstück haben uns gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung ist gut, mit allem was man braucht. Man kommt schnell mit dem Auto überall hin. Wir können das Haus empfehlen, hatten allerdings Pech mit dem Hundegebell bei den Nachbarn. Herr Mehrke hat sich direkt eingeschaltet. Die beiden Kater waren sehr angenehme Wegbegleiter. Bis bald.

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist für eine 4-köpfige Familie mehr als ausreichend und es war alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der großzügige Poolbereich und auch die Klimaanlage war mehr als willkommen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Ferienhäusern sind die bequemen Betten und die gut ausgestattete Küche hervorzuheben. Es sind viele Kleinigkeiten vorhanden, die andernorts oft fehlen. Für eine heimelige Atmosphäre haben auch die beiden Kater gesorgt, worüber sich v.a. unsere Kinder sehr gefreut haben. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer sowie der Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr gut. Sie waren jederzeit ansprechbar und haben uns mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Wir können das Ferienhaus daher uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Rundum zufrieden

Das Haus ist wie inseriert geräumig, sauber und voll ausgestattet. Die Lage bietet vollkommene Privatsphäre und Ruhe, "alle" berühmten Strände und Städchen der Gegend sind mit dem Auto innerhalb 20-30 min zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5-10 min. Es fehlt an nichts und alles funktioniert, vor allem für die Klimaanlagen in allen Schlafzimmern waren wir sehr dankbar. Für die Kinder (und mich) war der geräumige und saubere Pool das Highlight, speziell bei den Temperaturen! Oder vielleicht waren es die beiden Katzen... Anreise und Check-in waren problemlos dank der zuvorkommenden Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und der lokalen Verwalterin. Wir kommen wieder wenn wir die Algarve besuchen :)
