Step outside your doorstep and enjoy a short walk to the beach or hop on one of the 50 miles of public bicycle paths and nature trails that Hilton Head provides.

One minute walk from the villa will take you to the saltwater pool with a baby pool and sundeck for fishing on lagoon. You can access the 11-mile lagoon system via the dock for kayaking. Adjacent to the pool are three new private Har-Tru tennis courts that are easy to reserve and free for guests. Inverness is one of the only properties in Palmetto dunes with its own tennis courts.

If you're an avid golfer, you're in luck. On-site are three world-class golf courses: Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio, and Arthur Hills. Palmetto Dunes also offers bike and kayak rentals, a general store, and restaurants for your convenience. Supermarkets and many restaurants are nearby.

Enjoy the 25 miles of paved bike paths throughout Palmetto Dunes and Hilton Head Island, or bike on the beach! The villa also provides access to the palmetto dunes buggy, an air-conditioned courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove.

Located in the quaint and serene Inverness Village, you'll be surrounded by the George Fazio golf course and portions of the scenic lagoon. The village's swimming pool overlooks the lagoon and is next to the three free clay tennis courts for your use. The beach is only 3/4 mile away, close enough so that you can walk or bike. Your beach access at the Disney Beach House includes designated parking, restrooms, and a snack bar.
