We enjoyed our 2 week stay at the "Grassy Key" rental. The property and interior were neat and clean. The rental home was near beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. When arriving on Sunday, we did have a slight issue with the cleanliness of the pool. This was due to recent rain storms moving through the area. We contacted the owners and management company about this issue. They got back to us same day. The next morning the management company, Sun Dream Services, rectified the cleanup of the pool surface and floor. The management company owners were excellent. If we plan on vacationing in Cape Coral, FL again, we would highly consider renting this home in the future.Joe & Vickie

Very nice home, nice area. All check-in information was provided early and clearly noted.

Great amenities. We couldn’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t included. Plenty of towels, kitchen gadgets etc. The only thing that would’ve helped is if the pool was warm enough to swim our first two days. I think we overindulged on our allotted electricity usage by trying to get it warm enough by day three (our overage for 7 days was 56).

Great weeks vacation

Property is as described. Wonderful pool. Communication with property management was excellent. Home was very comfortable and kitchen had everything you would ever need. Bed was comfortable and bathroom is very large. Nice quiet location.

Had no issues, house was as advertised. We use Vrbo Twice a year for vacations in Cape Coral this was as nice and well equipped house as we have ever rented.

It was Perfect!

From beginning to end, everything was wonderful. The kitchen had every cooking item needed and the bed was so comfortable. I took several excursions but wanted to spend as much time as I could in this comfortable home. Would highly recommend, especially to families that are looking for a nice get away. Close to shops and grocery stores too.

We really liked the house & pool as well as the area. The kitchen was well equipped & furniture comfortable. Some housekeeping issues upon arrival and management co. confused on our arrival date but all in all nice place. No solar panels any longer.

Wonderful stay!

This was a perfect week for us spend in the warmth and sunshine. A beautiful home, and a perfect location with easy access to shopping, dining and parks. The home was exactly as pictured. We spent most of our time in and around the pool. This was exactly what we were looking for in a late winter getaway. I communicated a few times with the host and they were very quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay. We will definitely book this home again!

Everything was great, would rent again. Location was great especially if you want to spend time in Matlacha or Pine Island. Clean and as described. Fresh water canal, not salt water if you are wondering.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was as described.... beds were comfortable. Pool was clean. There were a few issues but the property manager addressed them very promptly. We were close to grocery and a few restaurants and 20 minutes from downtown. We enjoyed the farmer's markets in the area and Ft Myers Beach. Hosts were great to deal with.

Lovely Spacious Home

Lovely, spacious home with a good sized, clean, and refreshing pool. We did have to deal with a large number of indoor houseflies at the start of our stay but we were able to reduce to just a few with a fly trap and closing drains. Other than that we were very satisfied with the amenities, privacy and location.

Wonderful home and great owners

This is our sixth stay in Florida and one of approximately 2 dozen times using this service. The home was very comfortable and well maintained. The amenities were as advertised, very good. The low rating for the property management is due to lack of communication and follow through on a significant issue. The owners stepped up and responded when we contacted them directly. They were gracious. We recommend them and this home without hesitation!

Just OK

When we arrived, the master bedroom appeared that someone had slept in it the night before. The bed was not made and was a mess which gave us the impression that the place hadn’t been cleaned. Suppose to be a host but no one showed up. No one showed up when we left either per the directions.

Nice House!

Pros: great size, kitchen was fully stocked and beautiful. Cons: The screen on the Lanai was ripped so bugs were in the lanai and in the pool. This did not make for fun swimming. We shared the issue but was not fixed. The house could use a deep clean. AC filters were filthy. If you are a family who enjoys TV in the evening, there are really no channels for you to watch. This is really a personal preference thing. If they would give this house a deep clean and fix the lanai screen this house would have received all 5 stars.

Disappointed

The house was hurricane damaged with a large tarp over the roof, significant ceiling water stains inside and the screened porch structure over the pool was mostly intact, but with about half the screens. The pool was full of debris like it had not been cleaned for a few weeks. We questioned the health of the pool since it did not show proper care. I had previously written the owner about the damage to the house prior to my final payment I had received that they had somdamage but expected resolution before arrived. The actual state of the house was never made clear to us. I feel like it was a bit dishonest to not provide the conditin before we arrived We asked the property manager to resolve this pool cleanliness and it took 3 days and multiple follow up contacts including a complaint to the owner to get resolution. It didn’t help that we missed the only 3 warm days we had due to the polar vortex which hit a day later and brought 40F weather. The refrigerator had a bad smell and the water system to the ice seemed spoiled(likely due to hurricane loss of power and water). We asked the manager to resolve. 2 days later he dropped off a new filter, when it did not resolve the issue, he provided no more assistance to rectify. The a/c system intake was full of dust and needed cleaning and the manger blew that off and never took action saying he just cleaned it every 6 months. I’ve rented at a lot of Vrbos and other equivalents and this was the worst care I have experienced. The location is in the middle east of Cape Coral. Shopping is near but it is a far drive to other parts of the area such as south Fort Myers and Naples. We have stayed in other parts of Cape Coral (more south and southeast) and we liked the neighborhoods better.

Tolles Haus und toller Gastgeber

Das Haus ist einfach spitze. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend. Der Pool ist erstklassig. Der einzige Grund warum wir bei der Lage nur 4 Sterne vergeben haben, war dass die Entfernung zu den Stränden doch etwas weiter ist, wofür das Haus aber nichts kann. Dafür hatten wir eine niedliche „ Nachbarschaft „ in Form von Kanichenkauzen und unglaublich süßen Kaninchen welche immer auf dem Grundstück anzutreffen und zu beobachten waren. Alles in allem ein mehr als gelungener Aufenthalt. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, Fr. Müller. Jederzeit super erreichbar und sie kümmerte sich umgehend um unsere Anliegen. Besser geht es nicht.

Alles sehr gut, ein Top Haus

Alles im und ums Haus war sehr gut, total ruhige Lage am Kanal. Der einzige negative Aspekt war die Angabe beim Stand der Buchung: Der Pool wird entweder über eine stromsparende Solarheizung oder elektrisch beheizt. Wir haben allerdings keine Sonnenkollektoren auf dem Dach gefunden. Ansonsten ist das Haus absolut empfehlenswert.

Summer get away

We enjoyed a summer our first summer vacation. The pool was warm and amazing during the hot days. Kitchen had everything we needed. A quiet neighbor close to grocery stores. The beaches in the area we good for shelling at Sanibel and worth the drive.
