I have stayed in a lot of houses and this has to be a top place ! First off just a stunning house with a pool, great kitchen , comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. But the owners are the most amazing hosts - they care about your stay and that you have everything you need - we had the most wonderful time - using the pool everyday ! and hosted 2 dinner parties with a chef they recommended - can't wait to go back !

Amazing Stay!!!

If your going to stay in Scottsdale, this is where you should be. The rooms are beautiful, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and modern with everything you need. We could of stayed at the house the whole time and had a great time. The pool and outside are is best past even though the inside is gorgeous. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Perfect Getaway

From the minute we walked into the property we knew it was going to be a fantastic couples get away. The property had everything we needed and was the perfect amount of space for 3 couples. We absolutely loved the decor! The outdoor space was fantastic as well. We spent the majority of our time in the pool and the guys loved the putting green as well. Our vacation was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!

This is an amazing property just off main streets but super quiet. No traffic noise when relaxing out by the pool or sitting around the cute little propane fire pit at night. The interior decorating is soothing and absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable beds, a wide array of pillow options, and space to spread out or hang out together. Great communication with host and very easy to check in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

Red Door a Great Location

We spent a week at the Red Door. The home was clean, lovely and spacious. The pool and hot tub is fabulous. Dax, the owner was very prompt in answering any questions or concerns. This home was perfect for our family! What a great neighborhood, centrally located to all there is to do in and around Scottsdale. Some days we didn’t want to leave the house. Layout is great for privacy but also fantastic living for board games and family room for movies. Laundry room was a bonus. Last but not least, the pool and hot tub were a favorite!

Wow, what a beautiful home in a great neighborhood! We had an amazing time at Red Doors. The home was so comfortable for our family and we had everything we needed. The pictures do not do this property justice. It is stunning, elegant, a pleasure to stay in. We had a multi generational family group stay in this property for five nights. From beginning to end, this experience was phenomenal. The owners are so responsive, really care about the experience, and made sure our stay was everything it could possibly be. WOW!! This home was perfect in every way. The smallest details made a huge impact! Everything was extremely organized, clean, and uniquely decorated. We loved the putting green, pool toys, colorful bedrooms, Alexa capabilities, stocked bathroom essentials AND there was even a snack basket with a bottle of wine in it when we arrived!!! Communication with the property manager was incredibly easy and he responded quickly to any question we had. We’re so happy we found this beautiful home and we cannot WAIT to come back!! :)

Best VRBO we’ve stayed at

We rented Red Doors for an entire week over Thanksgiving and it was hands down the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The host had thought of literally everything and we needed for nothing! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basics, and set up in a user friendly way. The beds and bedding is extremely comfortable. The house is set up in a way we were able to relax comfortably as a family over a family focused holiday. The kids did 2 a day swims in the incredible pool. We had one kiddo under age 5 so it was nice that all the doors leading outside were linked w/ ‘the ring’ and so it would ring if the door was ever opened. There are also child locks on the top of all those doors, away from little hands. We all felt comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this place to everyone, we will be going back. such a great find.

Wanting a place where their family could gather and escape rainy winters while staying close to relatives, they created Red Doors as a joyful desert retreat.
Xio poured creativity and attention into every detail of the home—from colorful design elements and textures to curated art, custom furnishings, and a thoughtfully reimagined backyard.
More than anything, Red Doors was designed to bring people together.
Growing up, some of their best memories were made around busy tables surrounded by grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends—laughing, telling stories, and sharing great food.
Their hope is that guests feel the same warmth here.

Why they chose this property

We chose this part of Scottsdale because it perfectly blends quiet desert living with quick access to everything visitors want to experience. The neighborhood is peaceful, safe, and beautiful—ideal for relaxing mornings by the pool or calm evenings under the string lights—while still being just minutes from some of Scottsdale’s best spots.
Within a short drive you’ll find Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, two of our favorite areas for outdoor shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. It’s also incredibly convenient to golf courses, Scottsdale’s famous spring training stadiums, and events like the Barrett‑Jackson Auto Auction and WestWorld shows. When we want a bigger night out, Old Town Scottsdale is an easy drive for dining, art galleries, and entertainment.
For us, this location offered the best of both worlds:
a peaceful home base where family and friends can unwind, while still being close to the attractions that make Scottsdale such a fun destination.
After living in the Pacific Northwest, we also fell in love with the sunshine here. Being able to spend the day outside—whether lounging by the pool, grilling dinner, or walking to nearby parks—was exactly the lifestyle we imagined when we first dreamed up Red Doors.
