Nice lakehouse. Accurate listing. Clean and well stocked in a very quiet neighborhood. A nice little outdoor fire pit. The SUP and kayak were a nice touch of fun. We were very pleased.

Fabulous Views, all you need

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home which has fabulous views of the lake and a terrific deck and chairs to watch the sunset on. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with all the kitchen items you need, a washer and dryer, AC, comfortable beds, a family room, games, etc. the house also has a dock which accommodated our 20’ boat well. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Overall a great stay!!

Great house & area for water sports! Suggest cleaning service clean outdoor grill between guest stays. We were not able to use it.

Another great stay!

We returned for our second stay here, and it did not disappoint! The home now has zoned AC, which is great for warm days and nights. We love the dock access and beach proximity most of all. My 2.5 year old can jump off the dock and swim around. He loved going for rides on the paddle board with me. We had some chillier days, so we also did some hikes (Cook Mountain, Otter Creek Gorge in VT) and checked out Paradox Brewery. All worthwhile! We hope to return next summer again!

Great views!

House was clean, well appointed and we loved that the fur babies could come! The property was overgrown, but we were there before the real “season” hits. Our immediate concerns were dealt with right away. My only real complaint is if you have a boat trailer and/or more than one vehicle, parking on the steep hill is unpleasant and you’re constantly moving vehicles. But that could just be us. We parked our boat trailer at a friend’s house in town. I loved the a/c and docks. And the view is amazing!

Quiet Family Time on the Lake

Very quiet area in the lake which provides a great setting for family time. House was nice and well appointed. We had a few common household issues while we stayed but the owner was on top of them immediately. Very important note there is no air conditioner on the bottom floors. If it’s really hot it’s uncomfortable but otherwise the house cools down nice at night. Lake was beautiful the dock was in great shape to park our boat.

The view is amazing!!

My husband, toddler (1.5 years), and dog enjoyed our week so much!! The view is more beautiful than the picture let on! I loved sitting out on the deck with coffee or a drink over the week. We enjoyed swimming right off the deck, paddling around the lake on the paddle boards, and many walks around the area. We were at the Black Point beach (10 minute swim! or a quick walk or drive) everyday, and it was a perfect spot for our young son. It has clean, shallow water to play in, and it was never crowded at all. The house is really clean, well appointed, and has really nice bedding. It was helpful to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The location is nice and quiet, which we love. We did day trips to Lake George Village, Middlebury, and Fort Ticonderoga. There’s lots around. It was also helpful having a Walmart for things you forget to pack (but that could just be us!). We really want to return!

Great stay at the Lake

What a great find! Melissa is a great host, great communication and we were pleasantly surprised by numerous thoughtful touches upon arrival. We loved having coffee on the deck overlooking the water. We used the dock to tie up our boat and the kids had a blast swimming and using the house paddle boards. Best of all, our dog was welcomed. Also, the dishwasher was clutch - keeps vacation easy!

Million dollar view

Owner is awesome to work with. Check in a snap. Very clean and tidy. Brand new dock, updated bathroom. Neighborhood is nice and friendly. Our second year. We will be back.

You won't want to leave.

We had a great time. Each night we stayed out to watch the sun set and the stars come out. It is beautiful there and the dock was a good place to hang out and to dock my boat. Melissa was very helpful and responds right away. The property passed the clean test with flying colors.

A wonderful getaway!

What a wonderful getaway. It was spacious, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The lake was pristine, and the location was perfect. It was just what we were looking for as a family vacation spot.

Lakeside Perfection

We were here in early September with 2 kids (ages 5, 7) and our dog. Quaint cottage on a quiet area of the lake. Dock was great, loved that it had a Sandy bottom and was kid and dog friendly. Deck was great for viewing sunsets with plenty of seating room for everyone. BBQ and yard area was stocked nicely for family entertaining. Interior was clean, views were amazing, beds comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful when we had an unexpected schedule change—which we truly appreciated. Would highly recommend booking!

Awesome views in a comfortable setting

House was in excellent condition and very clean. Views of the lake were breathtaking. Wife commented that the web pictures didn't do the house inside and beautiful views justice.

Wonderful lakeside home

This home is located so close to the the lake's edge the views are amazing. Very comfortable home with everything you would need. Worked great for all age ranges we had there. We would love to stay again. Thank you Melissa for everything!

Family and friends lake vacation.

This property was immacualte. Probably one of the most well set up homes we have stayed at. From linens to kitchen utensils it seems no details were missed. This was an anual get together for my family and some friends. I would suggest to anyone to rent both homes. The Lake house was perfect for prepping and serving food to everyone. The carriage house was great for additional sleeping area. Thank you!

Great family vacation

We stayed here for a week with family and had a great time. Everything was clean and updated. There were plenty of clean towels, stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. They also had some SUP boards that we could use. I would definitely rent again!

Beautiful spot!

The owner is very responsive and very accommodating. They have gone out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The one and only criticism is the room with the bunk beds is smaller than it appears but definitely useable. Would definitely rent the property again! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!!!

peaceful retreat

We were a bit reluctant to book since there were no prior reviews for this property but were so incredibly impressed! The location of the house was perfect for us....very peaceful, quiet, and away from the more tourist heavy end of the lake. The house has a lot of character! Very clean and comfortable beds and all that you could need. And the views....simply superb! We all ( dog included) LOVED swimming and relaxing on the dock. It was incredible to relax on the porch at night and listen to the loons! There is so much to explore around the area....we wish we had more time! There is a boat rental( very reasonable prices) and beach ( free!) right down the street! The owner was very helpful and responsive through the entire stay. We hope to visit again!
