We absolutely loved our stay at the Atoka House! It was very clean and had everything you could think of and more! Most of all, we loved the history of the place and its charming decor and atmosphere! The location was great and we hope to return someday!
Our son got married at the Middleburg Manor and this home was the perfect size and distance from the venue. The house is full of charm, fully stocked and loved the history that was shared. Liz, the owner was very responsive and left so many special touches in the home to make you feel welcome. The only disappointment was the rain as we could not enjoy the firepit, which was not fault of the owners. We would love to make a return trip someday!
The property owner Liz was so helpful and gave us the best recommendations! We loved dining at The Red Fox Inn, the Ashby Inn, and Main & Field. We also loved our tour at Lost Mountain Winery! At the Atoka House, we loved the decor , the cozy beds, and the Scrabble game! We also loved sitting outside around the fire pit and at the picnic table. We can’t thank Liz enough for being the best host!
The host was communicative and kind, and the property was beautiful - as advertised! Warm, cozy — blankets and pillows every where. The kitchen space leaves plenty of room, we cooked dinner for five comfortably! Well stocked with essentials, and clean. Backyard is beautiful, fireplace gives you perfect cozy cabin feel. Host went above and beyond to check on us and help us with nearby activities.
This is a gem in Middleburg. The owners, Liz and Nick, were wonderful! The home is perfect, excellent location in Middleburg, and has so much personality.
Everything was great and the process was so easy and smooth. My family came to town and it was great to stay all together and not a hotel. Perfect place and the owners were awesome.
The house is very charming with historic appeal yet modern amenities. It’s very close to Middleburg where we spent a lot of time. The owners are friendly and responsive. We had a lovely stay and will be back!
Very accommodating hosts. Shared info about local area and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay (which we did!). House is charming and clean. Parking was easy. Very convenient to Middleburg and the wineries.
We would stay here again in a nanosecond. Charming, lovely spaces and garden, great communications with the owners, and just a lovely place in Virginia. Thank you!
Cozy, quaint and charming
Just like staying in Home in the English countryside
Well appointed and stocked with essentials
We loved it!
Check in very easy and owners were readily available for questions.
We highly recommend
1800's Historic, Restored Home, outside Middleburg VA
Perfect getaway cottage in the middle of VA horse & wine country. It was our first visit to Middleburg, but it won't be our last. The historic property and its attention to details, was impeccably maintained and extremely clean. The property mgr. was top notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
I have stayed at many VRBOs, but this beats them all. From a chilled bottle of wine to an unopened carton of half and half, everything we could want was there. And Liz was seamless in her communications and quickly answered my emails, texts, and a single phone call. I hope I have another excuse to visit so I can stay there again!
