Stylishly restored 1800's historic home- heart of Virginia hunt & wine country!
The Atoka House is a beautiful log cabin with the original part dating back to the late 1700's. The home has 2 full bedrooms and sleeps 6 and 2.5 bathrooms. The property is 5 minutes from Middleburg and Upperville, and 10 minutes to The Plains and Marshall.
When you step through the front door, you are greeted by the original log cabin. There is a guest bedroom on the main floor with a full bath and a bathtub. A washer and dryer are also on the main floor. The kitchen has a coffee bar and all standard kitchen amenities. The kitchen also has access to the wrap around deck with stunning sunset views.
Upstairs, you will find a warm and cozy family room with original hardwood floors, logs and beams. This room also includes a pull out queen size couch and a 55" smart TV. The primary bedroom has a king bed, incredible views to the west and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower with heated floor.
Sit and relax on the brand new Trex deck and watch the beautiful sunsets. The house also includes a propane grill and a fire pit.
The surrounding area is home to many wineries, craft breweries,cideries and tourist destinations including the Appalachian Trail and Shenandoah River/Shenandoah National Park. Piedmont Heritage Museum in Atoka,Sporting Museum in Middleburg,Museum of fox hunting in Middleburg,Middleburg community center and pool,Car shows at Creighton farms,Arboretum, Long Branch,Horse racing,Foxhunting,horse shows and eventing, Balloon festivals, Great Meadows,Polo,Twilight Jumpers,Upperville Horse show,Piedmont point to point etc.
