Close to Madison (30 min), Milwaukee (60 min) & Chicago (2 hrs), 2 bathrooms with 1 large suite featuring a king size bed & two single beds and a couch in the main living area can accommodate up to 5+ guests. Loved the vibe of the cabin. Was cozy and clean. Wasn’t as easy access to the water as expected but the boat launch wasn’t far at all. Had a fantastic time hanging out at the Lily Pad close by.

Nice cabin, adequately clean. No curtains across the large sliding glass doors off of the bedroom, which would've helped with the generous sun that comes in off the lake in the morning. Gorgeous view, but nothing fancy. Large balcony and yard- good for a getaway with a partner or a few close friends.

We found the cottage to be secluded enough, yet part of a quaint and safe neighborhood. All amenities as described, clean and comfortable. Would have liked to stay longer and utilize the lake better, but family gatherings took up most of our time, will consider staying again! Thanks!

Great Pre July 4th Getaway from Chicago

Planned a two night stay with me, my husband, our daughter (8), and son (4). The kids loved the look of "our log cabin" immediately. It was a great jumping off point to explore the area. On our one day we explored three small towns. I had dreams of kayaking but it was a bit long to caddy them for any non-adult, plus we had plenty to do otherwise.Beds were comfy and all of us slept well. Kitchen had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Sometimes cabins can be cluttered but this was perfectly appointed. We may very well stay again. Would recommend!

There were several things that were not in working order. The upstairs bathroom toilet would screech. Flushing stopped it temporarily, but needed to be done multiple times in the night. The gas patio table on the deck wouldn’t light.

October fishing trip

Nice clean cabin near lake. The fall colors were beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there, so the fishing was poor. But the cabin was great.

This was a very nice cabin!!

We had a great time. I just didn’t realize the lake access was so far away. We ended up finding a quaint little lake to kayak on. The cabin was updated with a rustic feel. The balcony was great to enjoy coffee and hear the loons in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.
