Enjoyed our stay at Sawmill Lane. All was as advertised. Peaceful and quiet. Love the stream in the back yard. It was relaxing to sit on the swing and listen to the water and birds. The trails thru the woods were fun to walk.
Great place for the price if you’re looking to get away and unplug for the weekend.
Checking in and communicating with the owners was pleasant and always were quick to respond to questions.
It is a single wide trailer with addition out each side which are both roomy and nice to play games and hangout.
The bedrooms are obviously small but the bed were comfy and very clean. Overall a great place for the price for a small family or 2 couples to getaway and enjoy the beautiful nature!
We had a very nice time, it was peaceful and relaxing. The place was spacious and had a cute little creek out back. There was a grill out back but unfortunately it didn’t work. We would definitely come back!
This place was just comfortable from the beginning. We had to contact the owners once and they responded within minutes. They were great. We had an amazing time hanging out by the fire pit, walking the trails and just reading by the water. Had everything you needed just bring clothes and food. We will hopefully be able to make it back some day.
The property was good. Just be mindful it is built around a single-wide. The couch was broken, but the owner was very responsive and apologized for not knowing that it was. The furnace is a little noisy and the beds are small. 150 acres is open for hunting so just be aware. Other than that, its a nice getaway.
We loved the property and the setting. However, the cabin smelled musty and moldy. An animal chewed on something(wood?) in the cabin all night. We left the next day and did not return.

There was no communication from this guest that there was a problem or that they were leaving early. We would have acted immediately to take care of any problems had we been called. It is a rural location in a wooded area with forest wildlife who's habitat humans are visiting. We are available to deal with any situation even if caused by a four legged friend. Being an older cabin in the woods contributes to a sometimes musty smell if there has been a lot of rain. Our goal is to give all of our guests a relaxing, enjoyable getaway in our quiet forest retreat.
We were heading to Kneobels for the weekend with the kids and dogs but wanted a place the adults could cheer for as well. The cabin was our happy place. It is a quirky build, the area surrounding the property was gorgeous, it was a beautiful ride to get there... we have no complaints. The bedroom are small but we slept well, the beds were comfy, and the closed in porch was a great place for game nights and all meals. Neil stopped by as we were leaving and he was so nice! We went in late fall and the leaves were falling. In the mornings, our dogs ran around off leash, we drank coffee on the porch, and the kids threw leaves at each other until they looked like two leaf piles. It was quite idyllic. We are grateful for the stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone that loves rustic and not fancy. Oh, ps bring your own spices.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sawmill Lane! The front room was a great place for meals and board games, as well as our dogs. There is no air conditioning so it's a little warmer than the rest of the home (with A/C) but we were fine with the ceiling fan, a small portable fan, and open windows. The back is lovely with a huge firepit, grill, bench swing, and small deck, right near a little stream with a bridge to explore the other side. Unfortunately, we had a thunderstorm and rain so we weren't able to enjoy it. :( We also took a little jaunt into the nearby woods with the dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adorable! Other guests commented on the bathroom which is located in between the two bedrooms (with pocket doors). This didn't bother us but might not work for some. The area was quiet overall; we heard a little bit of road traffic at times and some noise from the neighbors but not at all intrusive or constant. At night all we heard were deer in the woods, owls in the trees, and raccoons chittering somewhere nearby (never saw them though). It was lovely! We had everything we needed for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you!
Awesome cozy, rustic place with beautiful backyard. Pet friendly with a stocked kitchen of utensils, plates, and cups, with nice AC in the living area to cool down. Cute loft with a bed for separate space upstairs, as well as a bedroom on main level on the other end. Really nice fire pit with lots of space to spread out. Had a TV w/ Roku in the living area and wifi, but we didn’t use it much! Very nice little sunroom with a large table, as well as a grill and large picnic table outside. There were lots of farm markets and stands in the area as well as a large Amish grocery store. This was an excellent place to just chill and relax for a weekend.
