Not a great experience
The cabin has very nice views but the description says “4w drive not necessary” well not in our situation. We got there Sunday night after a quick stop at the grocery store to get us through a day and a half after a long day of traveling. We woke up to 3-5 inches of snow and no way to leave. We were fine but then the snow continued on for 2 days at which point we were out of food and water. Let me preface that with I’m 8 months pregnant and had my 5 yr old and 7 yr old with us. We tried to get groceries delivered and they could not get them to us because of how steep and slippery the road is to the house, at which point I messaged the owner and ask if there was anything they could do to help us. We had to leave to get food, off roaded on the ice, had to have help out, just to get to town an them be under a state of emergency with everything closed. We stayed one night in a hotel to sleep and then headed back south. I sent the owner many messages to ask for some kind of partial refund to help compensate for the hotels we had to pay for to get out of there and 3 phone calls and 2 messages were completely ignored.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains
This property was amazing for our families pet friendly stay in Sevierville. We loved the views and found it wasn’t too far for traveling to and from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for activities. We enjoyed the quiet mornings and evenings at the cabin and were even lucky enough to see a black bear walk right by the front porch one night. Be sure to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle, as with rainfall, on the fallen leaves, we needed it to get up the drive. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Not for your honeymoon
Let me say that We feel the cabin is not 5 stars. We enjoyed the views! But the mattress was the worst we have ever tried to sleep on! Did not sleep well the entire time there on our honeymoon. Besides the bed the cabin wasn't that clean. There were water bugs and stink bugs. Anytime after 11 am upstairs it was very hot due to only 2 ac vents in entire upstairs!! So trying to sleep in on honeymoon wasn't possible. I can only imagine how it would be in the Summer months. Blinds would not close fully in main bathroom due to being broken as several throughout cabin are which led to being seen going to the bathroom. A lot Needs to be fixed! Overpriced considering these things yet any kind of refund was not offered. Would not recommend nor stay there again.

Great fall break
We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very clean but does get hot upstairs during the day even with the curtains closed and AC on. The rode driving up is very steep but worth it when you get to the top. The views are stunning!

We're just two high school sweethearts with an avid passion for travel and adventure. The view from Mt. Le Conte in the Smokies is where we originally fell in love with hiking. In our 10 years together, we've meandered trails along fjords in Norway, sandy beach cliffs in Croatia, icy lakes in Poland, the gushing river in the Narrows of Zion - and a lot in between.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is a product of these loves of ours – a launch pad to adventure, cozy in the snow, rest after the summit, and catalyst for making memories.

What makes this property unique

We hope you make it YOUR place to stay!
