More amenities to come summer of 2025 (New pool table, dining table and chairs, living room comfy couch and coffee table:) Alyeska Views is a newly built, 3 story, modern home located within minutes of the popular Alyeska Resort, a premier year-round destination for endless summer and winter adventures. This gorgeous home boasts phenomenal 360-degree views of the Glacier Valley and neighboring Alyeska Resort nestled within the Chugach Mountains. The open concept floorplan is ideal for guests to be able to gather on the main floor and still be able to enjoy some privacy by going upstairs to one of the 4 private bedrooms. The entry, kitchen, dining area, 1/2 bath and living room are located on the 2nd floor. The bedrooms are located on the 3rd. The open-air rooftop deck sets this property above the rest where you can soak in the majesty of nature from every direction.
Though this is not a full on wedding venue spot , the Rooftop deck truly is the perfect spot for your quiet quaint glacier valley elopement style Wedding. (Any extra guests are limited to 30 total people on property (14 overnight guest max+16 extra). Extra people are allowed between the hours of 2 and 9pm:) Extra guests must depart no later than 9pm. NOTE: All Weddings/ Gatherings/ Parties and events must Book a 3 night minimum stay, as I’ve found it to be too much for folks to cleanup and depart by 10am checkout. Couples who book 2 nights for their event seem frazzled and stressed upon departure:) plan to have your wedding two days before departure. Do Not have your wedding the day before you depart.
We do not allow loud partying at the house as this is a very quiet quaint neighborhood:)Loud music on the outside (specifically on the rooftop deck is Not Allowed.
You’ll find high end appliances and fixtures throughout the home as well as everything you’ll need to truly feel like you’re at a home away from home. Hard surface flooring throughout helps keep the space clean especially as we welcome your furry friends to come along. (Guests with pets are required to vacuum all pet hair before departure) The Home has a kids corner of books and toys to keep your little ones entertained for hours each day! The Arctic entry closet is equipped with 2 packnplays, 2 strollers, high chair to help make your children comfortable and safe. There is also an extra folding table and chairs for extra eating/seating space (Often located on the roof next to the hot tub). Outdoor adventures are endless in this beautiful region. Countless miles of hiking, snowmobiling, and exploring is just at your fingertips. It’s a great jumping point for all of the activities the Kenai Peninsula; glacier tours, cruise ships, fishing charters (deep sea and river). Check out the Alaskan rail system for views that can’t be beat or experience the flight scene with a helicopter tour! The possibilities are endless, and I’d love to have you make my home your home base as you experience Alaska!
The roof top deck (my favorite part of the house) will be a perfect setting for catered wedding events, celebrations or a soak in the XL Sauna (Hot Tub/Spa) while taking in the views.

Great place to gather friends and family! The house is huge but also comfortable. The living room couch beckons and the pool table keeps kids busy. The kitchen is well stocked and has just about everything we needed, including coffee. The views were beautiful and the hot tub was a perfect added bonus. Definitely recommend!
Everything in the house was as shown and very clean. It isn't cheap, until you consider the size of the property and the number of beds there. It is definitely a premium location. It is fast to get to once in Girdwood but feels farther removed from the road and the town than it actually is. Top deck is amazing, I used it for a winter wedding. Fast and easy communication with the owner.
The house is really cool and modern, the view is breathtaking! Great location. Getting in the house was easy and house was fully stocked with everything we needed. I do wish there was an instruction book for the house though. Every other VRBO I've ever stayed at has had this and it helps answer questions especially since the host was a bit hard to get a hold of. I believe he lives remote and the time change is maybe what makes it difficult to communicate. A local manager number would have been very helpful.Cons of the house: We had a few struggles with the hot tub. The first night it got a breaker triggered that we didn't have access to and didn't work, the next two days it struggled to hold its temp. The other thing to note is that while this house is beautiful, it is not particularly safe for little kids. We appreciated the baby gate on the stairs and the toys for the kids, BUT there is a very dangerous area at the top of the outside stairs where the hot tub is where the railing does not extend and a child (or adult) could just walk out on and fall straight off the roof. We tried locking the door to this area but the deadbolt was missing and we had to put a bench in front of the door to keep the kids away from it. The other issue was the DIY Bunk beds being dangerously high without much for a railing to prevent falls. This wouldn't be a big issue for adults or teens but was scary for us with our littles.

Unfortunately this review is full of blatant LIES and egregiously exaggerated statements. The property is absolutely SAFE for all guests. Please see the many top star reviews, many of whom with small children. None of these safety concerns exist, as every previous guest felt safe and secure in this rental. I will break it down…
This guest messaged me after midnight regarding the hot tub. The breaker required replacement. I left at 5:30am, (2hr round trip)as the hardware store opens at 6:30. The part was purchased and the hot tub Was back in action by 7:30am same day. It remained that way throughout the duration of their stay.
I believe this guest chose to use this minor frustration to attempt to damage my property and negatively impact my family business.
The roof top deck is to municipal code and has no gaps over 4 inches. There is absolutely NO fall hazard! The 3rd floor door to the roof deck cannot legally be locked as this is an emergency escape route per municipal code.
The bunk bed has large barrier , much larger than a standard purchased bunk. Anything larger would prevent access and exit.
No previous guest has needed a user manual for the home. I plan to make one in hopes that no future guests struggle in this way. This has never happened in hundreds of previous guests.
It really is frustrating how a guest can slander a home and hurt my ability to care for my family, in this way. Their ability to take vengeful action do to a simple circuit breaker malfunction (which was fixed immediately), is very disheartening.
Future guests: please see the many top star reviews that show the true reality of your stay.
Sincerely,
Host Zack
Beautiful home, it was perfect for my wedding weekend! Zack was extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with when I had any questions beforehand. Definitely would love to go back!
Great house for a family vacation, about a mile from downtown and 2 miles from the ski area. Plenty of space and well kept.

The Alyeska view from this resort is spectacular. The resort is huge with modern design. It has every thing for a short or long feel like home stay. It is close to Anchorage and Whittier. The owner, Zack is very nice and response all questions very quickly. Highly recommended.
We loved our stay at Alyeska Views! The couch and beds were comfortable, house was spotless, hot tub was a bonus, the host messaged us back quickly for any questions we had, easy instructions for check in. You can't beat the view either. Highly recommend staying here. The place had enough towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The roof top has an arch and benches which would be great for someone that wants to have a small ceremony.
This is a great property for a family vacation with multiple families. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The host was excellent and responded to all questions right away.
Great getaway for us from talkeetna with family visiting from out of state. The grandkids loved the hot tub, the big g double shower and watching the Olympics on the huge tv!
Nicely stocked kitchen as well.
Fantastic place for ski groups in the winter. Easily accessible to Alyeska Resort from Anchorage. Great amenities and scenery. Conveniently located near the beautiful Kenai Peninsula for scenic drives and adventuring.
We booked this property for our small wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. The views were outstanding and the house had everything we needed. I can't wait to stay here again.

About the host

I'm a Helicopter by Profession. I started my career in 2003 in Idaho (where I was born and raised). I first came to Alaska in 2007 and immediately fell in love with the Grandness and Beauty. I feel lucky to have a great office view to take in the splendor of this amazing majestic state. Professionally I have flown in Idaho, California, the Gulf of Mexico, Afghanistan, Africa, Peru, and Ecuador. But it is Alaska which I just could not stay away from for long. I finally decided to buy property in Girdwood, moved into the yurt which still stands on the my property, and after 30 or so drafts of what to build, I started creating Alyeska Views. I want everyone who has a spirit for adventure to experience the Alaska I have grown to love!!
