Beautiful home wit plenty of space for our large family. Well appointed kitchen, charmingly decorated, beautiful beach and grounds. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Perfect lakefront home on Burt Lake! Great location and very private. Mike and Lisa have gone above and beyond to accommodate guests. Cleanliness was top notch…we hopefully will be able to rent this home again.
What a wonderful home! Even better than we expected. So beautiful - inside and outside. Secluded and quiet, the house had everything we could have asked for. Highly recommended and we hope to make many return visits.
Thank you so much for hosting our family. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. The kids enjoyed the beach and the paddle boards. We would love to return next summer!
This house was so clean, classy, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The beds were so nice! We all slept great! The outside was just the same and the lake view is beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time together with plenty of room to sprawl out and enjoy the inside and outside. The owners were responsive and very easy to communicate with. We thank them for the opportunity to stay at this amazing property!
Lisa and Mike’s home is beautiful. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The hosts are very responsive to any questions or concerns. It is a bit of a challenge to find it the first time but it was a perfect location to explore the Upper Peninsula including Mackinac Island and Sault St. Marie. We highly recommend this property.
Many memories made this past week at Mike and Lisa’s beautiful home on Burt Lake! House and property was perfect for our family trip! Super clean, comfortable and hosts were easy to contact and communicate with:) thanks so much!
What a wonderful home! We were on the fence about the “no internet” listing (we had 4 kids with us ages 9-11) but we have no regrets! We were admiring the interior design of the home the whole trip! We loved the huge outdoor space… since it was unseasonably warm, we spent the nights hanging out by the campfire and the kids even got to play in the water during the day. We were planning on hiking somewhere else but decided to just hike around the area… the leaves were just starting to change so we were able to take great photos. The kids are already asking when we’ll come back…
This home is new, beautiful, and perfectly furnished with everything you would need from the kitchen to bedrooms to enjoy your stay away from home. The gorgeous view of the sunset and the peaceful ride through the woods make you realize how wonderful northern Michigan really is. Also, this home is conveniently located to many attractions; we visited the Cross in the Woods, shopped in Petosky and Harbor Springs and went to the U.P. twice.
We completely enjoyed our stay at this home. Except dish tv was not working. Disappointing since it rained almost our entire stay and not much to do at night. And we love to watch the news in the morning and evening. Also, no internet was a bummer. But we would book again in a moment next time we go to northern Michigan.
We appreciated the eye for details in the living spaces – lots of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Enough towels for all, and the sleeping arrangements worked nicely.
The lake front area is wonderful. Extremely well thought out and private. The beach area was used for family competitions of badminton and sand castles by our 3 year-old, and of course just enjoying the sunshine with a good book.
We brought our own boat and jet ski and docking the boat was a bit difficult with the shallow water. Larger boats may have issues.
Sunsets were awesome – sitting by the fire pit and enjoying family, sunset, and laughter is priceless.
We definitely want to return and enjoy the surroundings to make more family memories.
This property had everything we were looking for in a vacation- quiet area, lake activities, a private beach, and a really well-designed, modern, clean house. We loved playing at the beach all day and watching perfect sunsets at night. The sandy-bottom lake has is shallow over 100 ft from shore, which was great for our kids. The outside landscaping of this house is incredible- I can’t think of a property with a better outdoor setup than this one. Overall a great spot that we would highly recommend to others.
