Hike down for private Madison River access or a five minute/1.7 Mile drive to the Palisades Boat Launch on the Madison River. Located near great bird and big game hunting areas. Looks directly across the Madison River to Wall Creek Elk Preserve. Forty-five minute drive to West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Thirty minute drive to Ennis MT. Forty-five minutes to Historic Virginia City. Summer activities include fishing on the Madison River or the many local alpine lakes, hiking, camping, kayak or canoe the lakes, and touring Yellowstone national park. Or visit in the Fall and early Winter for skiing, snowmobiling or big game hunting.

We love this property! We have stayed here twice and it has served as our base camp when visiting Yellowstone. Beautiful property! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Love the access to the Madison River and the proximity to Ennis is fabulous.

This overlook cabin is beautifully maintained and one of the best stocked vacation rentals we have experienced. The views are amazing! Less than an hour to the West entrance of YNP. Highly recommend.

Beautiful getaway on the Madison River!

My family and I had an amazing time in this cabin! It’s in a beautiful location right next to the Madison, which is a plus for avid fly fishermen! It was also close to Bozeman, Ennis, and West Yellowstone, making excursions easy! Overall, 10/10 would rent again!

Incredible view! So nice to sit out on the deck and watch the sun set behind the mountains. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Location was 45mins to W Yellowstone gate.

Great place for fishing The Madison

Beautiful and clean log house. Incredible views of the Madison River Valley. Not easy access to fish directly from the cabin because it sits high away from the river but there is plenty of access close by. Ennis is a really cool little town.

50th B-Day fishing trip to Montana.

The views from the cabin are phenomenal. 6 friends/fly fisherman were very comfortable at the cabin. It was central to a lot of rivers. We grilled or cooked all of our meals at the cabin. It’s very well set up for a group of friends or a family to visit SW Montana. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location

The house was perfect for 5 people. It was very clean on arrival and had all the amenities needed for a great summer vacation - wraparound balcony, excellent Weber gas grill, well stocked kitchen, etc. The house is near the best fishing holes on the Madison River and only a one hour drive from the Henry’s Fork in Idaho.

This cabin is perfect! Breathtaking scenery. We had such a great experience for it being our first time in Montana and Yellowstone. The cabin is around 40 minutes from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park which was awesome! The owners really thought of everything! All the amenities of home! Hope to stay again soon!!

This place is amazing! Plenty of room for the whole family. It was amazing sitting on the back porch relaxing under the big Montana sky. Elk, eagles you name it, are every where! Right by the river and very close to Quake Lake with a tragic but fascinating history. Close drive to Yellowstone. Costco is in Bozeman so easy top stock up for the week, everything else you need it at the cabin.

Great Madison River Adventure

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at the Madison River Cabin. The cabin is in a beautiful location overlooking the Madison River. It was exceptionally clean and inviting. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked as were the bathrooms with many thoughtfully placed amenities, plenty of towels and lots of pillows!! We enjoyed the porch in the evening and especially the double rocking chair. We would definitely recommend this cabin and certainly book it again in the future if it’s available. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Great place but just know it is really a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath with a loft and downstairs area with futon bed. not a 5 bed 3 bath. Still great location and amazing views.

Watching the sunset from the deck was a highlight of each day. Such a picture perfect setting, with great views of the Madison River from inside and out. The house amenities could not have been better, and the kitchen, bath, and laundry were fully stocked which was a very welcome surprise. We had a great WiFi connection, too. Appreciated having advice on how to keep the house cool. We were very comfortable as a result.

Everything about this house was perfect!

This property exceeded our expectations! The location was great…halfway between Ennis (adorable town) and West Yellowstone. The house provided plenty of comfortable space for our group and the dining room table was plenty big to hold family dinners. It was well stocked as well from towels to kitchen items and spices to bathroom items….our teen girls loved that there was dry shampoo lol. The beds were really comfortable. So comfortable that the last day we had to check to see if there was a tag for the mattress brand (there was)! I appreciated that the tv was in the gameroom…we had a lot of family time in the living room without the distraction. Of course we were there when Yellowstone flooded which messed up a lot of our plans but we made the best of it. We drove to the Grand Tetons (about three hours one way), spent some time in Virginia City and found ourselves spending time in Ennis shopping, eating and just walking around. We plan on going back and will definitely check to see if this property is available. Jenny was very responsive as well and put our minds at ease about everything! Most importantly we loved that Montana caused us to slow down and appreciate our time together.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was VERY well equipped. The owner provided trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry/dishwasher detergent, etc. The house is not near others so you really feel like you're away from it all (but it has great internet so you can still be connected). We loved the views and visited local attractions including Yellowstone and various fishing areas. Definitely recommend.
