Perfect spot for stay in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood

I highly recommend this property. It is a lovely, comfortable apartment with a superbly well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and linens, and a private well lit entrance. Nicole and Kurt are wonderful, helpful hosts who have thought of everything you may need. Nicole provides clear instructions for your check in, stay and departure, and she responds promptly if you have any questions. The location is very convenient for getting around in Ballad on foot or by car, and public transportation to downtown Seattle is a short walk away. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Seattle.

Lovey home away from home in Ballard

I really enjoyed my stay in Ballard. Wonderful, quiet neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. The property was exactly as advertised with lovely hosts. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Seattle and I will come back on future trips.

Perfect spot in Ballard

This was a perfect location for our stay in Ballard! The apartment was more spacious than expected, very clean and had everything we needed. It is exactly as described and more. It was a short walk to the restaurants, shops and farmers market. It was also very easy to hop on the bus and head into downtown Seattle. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be booking this location on our next trip back!

We are an easy going, active, fun loving, couple in our late 50's early 60's.
We love living in the beautiful PNW for the beautiful mountains and all the water activities. Boating, hiking, biking, walking, exploring, wine tasting, enjoying good food and hanging out with our 4 year old grand daughter is what we love.
We are avid Short term rental travelers ourselves and have outfitted our apartment with just about everything you need and want for a comfortable and joyful stay.
English and Dutch speaking, we enjoy hosting visitors from all over the world and have been host for over 6 years on another hosting platform :)

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this gorgeous 1920 large craftsman home 20 years ago and love living here.
We love the walkability of the neighborhood to shops, cafes, bars, theater and more.
Yet its in a quiet residential and safe neighborhood.
A walkers paradise as it is referred to often, close to a public beach (Golden Gardens), waterfront and a 20 minute car/uber drive to DT Seattle

What makes this property unique

Large front porch set above the street give this home a grand feel.
Original craftsman detail makes this house one of the most beautiful homes on our street.
Large private front patio with weeping grapevines is exclusively reserved for our guest and perfect for having breakfast/coffee in the morning or glass of wine/beer in the afternoon sun.
Plenty of street parking always available right in font of home too.
Our guests keep coming back year after year :)
