Wonderful accommodations in a beautiful setting. We loved having a full living room separate from the bedroom. The bathroom looked virtually brand new, loved the shower. And we actually used the washer dryer, it came in handy! Cafés, restaurants and supermarket were centrally located which was helpful. The owners were very lovely people as well, which is an added plus.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and we loved it! It is perfect for two people and not too far from anything. The owners were very nice and were very good about communication. I certainly recommend this to anyone! Thanks to the owners!
I loved staying here! Great little place, super comfy bed! Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. Would stay here again!

Great property. Very clean inside and outside. Lots of amenities, like full kitchen, coffee maker and tea. Lots of natural light, and quiet. Comfortable bed and couch.
Yeon and Javier were amazing hosts! They greeted us upon arrival and checked in to make sure we were all set. The adorable cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The local wine and Theo chocolate was a thoughtful host gift. We enjoyed the courtyard and lovely gardens and the area was walkable to several parks/beaches/restaurants and on street parking was easy. We'll be back for sure!
Private place in a beautifull neighbourhood. Has all the amenities you Will needClose to downtown and freewaysVerry friendly owners, who are on site to help you out
We stayed for a week here and fell in LOVE with ballard and the property. Since the owners live on the property it's easy to ask for special requests and they will have lovely reccomendations for food/activities/etc. Will be staying here again!
What a great place! We enjoyed staying in this nice-sized VRBO with a separate living area, large kitchen, and good-sized bedroom. It is clean, cute, comfortable, and convenient. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and Larsen's Bakery (one of our go-to Seattle spots). The owners were responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Yeon was welcoming, and met any need we had regarding our stay. The ADU was beautiful, fully equipped and comfortable to be in. It is well situated on Seattle. This is a 5 star place. Looking forward to returning.
Very nice stand alone cottage, well set up, very comfortable bed. Sunset Hill Park, which has great views over Puget Sound and on clear days, the Olympic Peninsula is just a few blocks away. Very nice neighborhood.
I booked this for my parents to stay while visiting us in seattle. It is not only super cute but also a wonderful location. The hosts are also very helpful and kind. We ended up having several visits to the hospital unexpectedly and the home a perfect spot for them to relax and recover. Can’t say enough great things about it and would highly recommend.
We enjoyed the guest house and neighborhood a lot. Parking was always available. Space was clean. The ability to do laundry was appreciated. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet and peaceful. The house book also provided things to do and food recs. Would stay here again. I think the only thing the property could benefit from would be a full length mirror.
My husband and I stayed at the Ballard Sunset Hill Guest House for 2 nights during our anniversary trip. The home was exactly as described and perfect for us! The hosts were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. They were happy to provide recommendations to us, which we took and were very happy with! They also provide a guide when staying that has tons of helpful information including hand drawn maps of neighborhoods around the area. We had a lovely time!
Spotless, very pretty inside and out. Imagine my surprise when I needed an ice pack and there was one in the freezer. Comfortable bed.
Kitchen is well equipped. Excellent quality.
Quiet location. Private garden outdoor area/ patio. Nice shrubbery, some flowers in bloom.
Parking reliably available right in front of the house.
Absolutely top quality. Easy to communicate with owners, very responsive.
This guest house was an excellent place to stay. It was cozy, comfortable and quiet. It was clean. The washer and dryer are very good. The kitchen was well appointed. There was a patio we used for our morning coffee. It is a one bedroom but it was roomy. Yeon and Xavier are excellent hosts and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We would stay again.
Great hosts and a great little cottage in a beautiful and quiet back garden. Street parking was convenient and always available. Everything was very clean and in great shape. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful weekend stay. The guest house is located on a quiet street, which is excellent for walking around. The house is fully equipped with everything one would need. The hosts were friendly and available to answer questions. Thanks for the lovely stay!
Lovely little house in a cute, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants, a bakery and a little market, as well as the beach and park at Golden Gardens. Host gives tons of helpful information about the area and recommendations. We really enjoyed it.
We very much enjoyed this peaceful retreat. The guesthouse is in a safe and quiet but walkable neighborhood, tucked back from the street and in a lovely garden setting. Inside, it’s beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including an electric teakettle—something we use at home and usually miss when we are away from home. There is even a washer and dryer—very nice to have. And the cottage is full of thoughtful moments, from labels light switches to the artwork to the charming little book that describes neighborhood walks, restaurants, and more. One of our best travel accommodations anywhere, and we will likely be back next time we visit our family in Seattle.
Just as described. Pleasant stay. Would consider again.
