The home and property are just beautiful. It was perfect for our group of ladies enjoying cranberry fest for the weekend. Comfortable beds, and all the amenities that we could need or ask for.
Place is beautiful, clean, spacious and price was great. They had an unexpected fly issue but it wasn’t terrible and they did their best to solve right before we wanted to check in. Only soap and shampoo in 1 of the 3 showers and hardly any tp in any of the bathrooms. Bring matches if you want a fire indoors and/or outside. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay! (We stayed with 4 other couples so 10 adults). I would recommend friends and family to stay and we would stay there again!
What a gem in the Northwoods. We couldn't of asked for anything better. From the moment we pulled into the driveway it became apparent that this was a "GEM IN THE NORTHWOODS". Very nice cabin, very nice setting, very nice place on the lake. The host was so easy to work with, easy communication, easy check-in, check-out. We enjoyed the whole weekend in the Northwoods, and HIGHLY Recommend this "GEM" to anyone looking to stay in the Northwoods. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to the Host as we truly had a wonderful, relaxing, memorable trip to the Northwoods.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a nice private and quiet lot. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 5 children. The second refrigerator and living space on the lower level came in very handy. Also the interior and exterior porches provided extra space for relaxing. The walk down to the lake was a little steep but was great exercise. We did run out of supplies but the grocery store is close by if you forget to bring extra.
This place was a wonderful "home" to relax in for one week. Plenty of space for the 9 of us to be together or separate when the need arose. The walk to the lake was a little steeper than we had anticipated, but all survived! Just a couple small negatives...The ad said shampoo was provided, so no one packed any. There was none. We had a power outage one evening and there were no flashlights or lanterns available. And the can opener did not work, even though all 9 of us tried. We had to go to town and buy one.Would we stay again? YES! The place was awesome.
The house was perfect for our 14 family members. Very clean and plenty of space. The lake was great for fishing but not good at all for swimming, too weedy. The house was not stocked good. We could have used more toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Another down side was the very steep walk to the lake.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Excellent furnishings; ample housewares, including spices and cooking utensils; nice bedding and towels. Bathrooms were clean and good sized. We were told of the steps to the lake; most of us are 75- 80 years old, so that was tough, tho the steps and walkway were in good condition.Outlet for charging boat batteries was not turned on. Grounds were well kept up; very good dock. WiFi worked real well; lots of channels on the TV, but will need someone who understands Smart TV's and streaming better than we do. Excellent reception. The lake had a lot of blue green algae at this time of year. Very tough to see into the water for fishing; oddly, the west side of the lake was quite clear. Public boat landing is about 3.1 miles from the cabin. Had some difficulty with getting the rental agreeement signed and emailed back, but the agreement was a very good checklist of how we were to use the place. Other than the steep climb back to the cabin and brackish water, neither of which the owner can do anything about it, it was a fantastic home.
julie, the host, was awsome. if i had any questions she answered them right away. the house and the surroundings were beautiful. will definitely go back
Place is beautiful, location is perfect. The property was clean and has room to sleep many people comfortably. Our stay was perfect and will likely be back!
The property was perfect for a multigenerational family trip to the north woods. The property was very clean & well maintained. The front covered porch and indoor porch acted as the perfect “drop zone” for shoes and gear we didn’t need everyday. The main living room and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The upstairs bedroom with en-suite was great for my parents, the basement space was perfect for my brother’s family with 2 kids, and my family, with two teens, stayed in the two bedrooms on the main level. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us! We enjoyed the pool table in the basement and watched a lot of World Cup soccer on the two main large tvs in the house (1 in the basement & 1 in the living room). The kitchen table was great for playing family games. Gorgeous deck with table, grill and lake view. Deer and wild turkey visited the property almost everyday. The walk down to the lake was a bit steep, but there was an option to take stairs for a good portion of the way. We have been coming to the St. Germain area every summer for over 35 years and this property is our new favorite!
The stay was great. We had 4 couples spend the weekend sledding. The only issue we had was the internet was down for a bit, but it was fixed the next day and she also refunded us 100 for the small inconvenience. I would also say, if I would change anything, it would be to add small soap and shampoo in the showers. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property. -Tyson
This house was absolutely beautiful and so perfect for us or really any family! There was tons of space and rooms! Beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean and was decorated so cute! The owner was great to work with and we cannot wait to come stay here again!
