What a mess!
The apartment is not as nice as the pictures have you believe. The kitchen is sub par (exposed wiring and ventilation ducts), the furniture is worn, and it was dusty.
You also need to know there is a nightclub on the first floor of this building that opens at midnight and goes strong until 5:30am.
But even with those issues, we were fine until a leak began in the kitchen ceiling. I immediately sent an email and no one responded. 5 hours later I woke up to what sounded like rain- but it was water pouring from the ceiling in the kitchen, the hallway, and my daughter’s bedroom. Water was pouring from power outlets and light fixtures - we were worried we would be electrocuted. I called Pick a Flat and was told the owner was in their way. Three hours later, a plumber showed up. We had already packed our bags and booked another place to stay with NO HELP from the apartment owner or Pick a Flat.
They have been slow to respond regarding any refunds and were no help with our relocation. Half of New Year’s Day in Paris was wasted.
Do NOT stay here!
