Large apartment house "Roger", 5 storeys. In the district of Obernhäusern 500 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Grocery, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 300 m, 12 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Brücke zum Steg" 260 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 750 m. Mountain railway 600 m, ski rental 350 m, ski bus stop 260 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked. Access via a pathway with steps (70 steps) or, by lift and 34 steps to the entrance of the house.
2-room apartment 51 m2, on the upper floor. Renovated in 2019, beautiful and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofabed (145 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV and radio. Exit to the terrace, south facing position and west facing position. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm), TV. Exit to the balcony, south facing position and west facing position. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)). Bath/WC. Balcony 9 m2, south facing position and west facing position, large terrace 29 m2, south facing position and west facing position. Terrace furniture. Beautiful view of the mountains and the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi). Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed.

Views were good. Place was comfortable, kitchen well equipped. However, it is not a ski on and out place. Getting out ski gear and belongings there was extremely difficult. 4 locks to unlock. 70 steps. Snow on steep hill. Near to town, if you don't mind climbing straight up and down 600m or more in ski boots. A tip for other skiiers - leave your ski gear in a locker near the slopes. TV only has German channels, not French, Italian or English as the guide says. Office no help - staffed by a bunch of unhelpful self-satisfied young men. The whole process could have been much easier. Stay elsewhere if you don't want a hassle.

Schöner Blick oberhalb Zermatts

Wir waren von der Ferienwohnung wirklich begeistert. Die Küche war, wie beschrieben komplett ausgestattet. Das Schlafzimmer sehr komfortabel, gute Betten. Das Wohnzimmer lässt sich ohne großen Aufwand in ein zweites Schlafzimmer umfunktionieren, so dass die Wohnung auch mit 4 Erwachsenen nutzbar ist. Sehr gut waren auch Balkon und Terrasse, die mit reichlich Gartenmöbeln bestückt waren. Wir würden diese Ferienwohnung jederzeit wieder buchen..

+: Bon emplacement pour un départ en ski de Sunnegga; appartement fonctionnel - le salon peut se fermer par une porte coulissante; 2 télévisions - au salon et dans la chambre; bien équipé; bonne literie et beaucoup d'espace de rangement. -: ménage d'entrée terminé à 18:00 au lieu de 14:30; l'ampoule de l'entrée cassée; le canapé lit n'était pas préparé à notre arrivée; internet en sus; un voisin dans l'appartement du dessus s'entraine au rameur à longueur de journée; appartement sur-chauffé.

Appartement grand et très bien aménagé. Très confortable. Très bonne literie. Rien ne manque. Le balcon, la terrasse et le petit jardin sont un fameux plus pour zermatt. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Accueil et disponibilité du personnel parfait.

Schöne Unterkunft an guter Lage, mit Matterhornblick! Ausstattung perfekt, gut geeignet für 4 Personen, sauber und ruhig und doch ist alles in der Nähe! Check in und check out unkompliziert, Preis - Leistungsverhältnis genial gut! Sehr empfehlenswert, wir waren vollkommen zufrieden, danke!

Ski à Zermatt

Un appartement bien équipé et moderne avec un lit double et un canapé lit pour deux enfants. En sortant sur le balcon on peut admirer le Cervin! L'accès est un poil compliqué avec les valises et la matériel de ski. Nous avons laissé le matériel à la remontée mécanique le premier jour et avons prix un taxi le dernier jour pour le ramener. Or depuis la rue, il faut traverser un tunnel de env 20-25m, prendre un ascenseur et finalement prendre une douzaine des marches.
