I wish I could've left a start review for this cabin. Just a couple things I didn't like First I didn't know this cabin was on a campground. I don't see anything in the listing that said it was. Second there was only one fan and it was on the ceiling above the loft. And no ac either.Last, we couldn't open most of the windows because there were homes in the screens and bugs were coming in through them. Other than those it was a nice place, with linens, towels, and kitchen supplies (no toaster though, it said there was one but nope).
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. It was very cozy and met all of our needs for a weekend away to go skiing in January. The drive to Bretton Woods was quick and easy! It was also a plus that the cabin is pet friendly, so we could bring our pup. Our only observation is that the spiral staircase is very steep. We were fine, but our dog couldn’t make it up and down.
The cabin was exactly what I expected... which is a good thing! Very comfortable and all of the basics we needed for our stay. Sheena was very nice to work with.
Cozy, rustic cabin in the heart of the White Mountains
We've been coming to the cabin for a few years and enjoy our stays immensely. The kids can ride bikes, roam and wade on the campground roads and river. Location is fantastic - convenient to Littleton (great restaurants and shops), Bethlehem (Rek Lis Brewery) and some of the best hiking in NH. Minutes from Mt Washington, Santa's village, Appalachia trail head and Zealand/Crawford notch. Far from the crowds in Conway and Lincoln but close enough to visit.
My husband and I stayed at the Bear Lodge Cabin which was warm and cozy. It could have accommodated our whole family in the many loft area beds and pull out couch in spare room. We enjoyed exploring around the river and hiking in nearby mountains. Very beautiful area.
Perfect for a family getaway with our dog. Great location close to awesome hiking in the Northern Presidentials, Crawford and Franconia notches. Short trip to Santa's Village and gateway to explore the cute towns of Bethlehem and Littleton. Plenty of space, very quiet despite being fairly close to a few RVs- really quiet family friendly campground without the parties/loud noise that some campgrounds have.

Disliked: Location
The sofa was a little on the shabby side.Very disappointing-the coffee pot was unusable, it leaked!
This is a good base especially for Franconia Notch. There’s not much around locally so I would come with groceries
The cabin has good space and is comfortable. There are no be private sleeping areas though
This was a surprise location. I do love that it was located on the river but I'm not sure I was aware it was in a campground prior to booking. All in all, it was a really cute place. I do wish it had air conditioning or a dehumidifier as it was very muggy and humid. It made for tough sleeping the 1st night. But I guess it was camping! I love that we could bring our pup! He really enjoyed swimming in the river and walking the campground. It was a nice last minute get away with my guys!
Cabin is on a campsite. Great location close to Crawford Notch. This was a great place to rest our legs after some amazing hiking and mountain biking. Owner is very quick to respond to messages. WiFi is a little hit or miss in the Cabin, but worked great at the front of the cabin and on the porch. This was actually perfect as we could connect when we needed, but could otherwise be off the grid. Cabin was a bit musty at times. It was very humid during our trip so this likely had more to do with the damp and humid weather than with the property itself. Overall a wonderful experience and we would definitely return!

Short version:
Terrible owner and bad experience with Expedia after being told I paid for everything and all was settled only to have the property owner cancel the day of with no contact until the day we arrive telling us we need to make another payment. Owner called us suspicious and threatened to call police. Expedia first said the whole sum of the trip was charged to my card then I asked where my missing money went and they say the whole sum was not charged to my card. Be careful dealing with properties who are listed here and go through VRBO. Property owner also told me I didn’t need to worry about anything else after asking if I owed anymore money before showing up to the property. Couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone.
This is a great location for proximity to attractions. It is described as "rustic", so my expectations were simple. It was clean, but, this property needs love. The furniture is torn and the rugs are beyond help. Very basic kitchen supplies. No outdoor cooking arrangement, though there is a firepit. Nice porch swing. It's listed as being on the river, and I suppose technically it is, but you can't see or access it from the property, so don't expect that. It seems to be located within a campground. When you enter, there is a "This is a no alcohol resort " sign painted on an old barn. We assumed it was a relic and drank our wine in peace. There was a woodchuck that made an appearance around sunset and the clouds over the mountains were magnificent, but I wouldn't stay here again.
My only complaint is that we stayed in one of the cabins and we would have liked it better if they kept an open space between the cabin and the first rv space
