Welcome to this oceanfront oasis on the very tip of Topsail Island. This 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom duplex offers the most unique outdoor gathering area under the home. There you will find beach colors, storage for your beach items, a dart board, and a pair of swings that overlook the crashing waves. Walk upstairs to find the first level that houses the three bedrooms. The two guest bedrooms share a full bath and are conveniently located near the full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom offers an attached bath and direct access to an oceanfront deck. This deck is the perfect place to roll out of bed and enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic with a cup of coffee. The top floor is the perfect place to gather and features a half bath for the convenience of you and your guests. The fully equipped kitchen boasts full size appliances, tons of counter and cabinet space, and an open concept that looks into the dining and living room areas. The vaulted ceilings and abundant windows let in natural light and give an open and airy feel. The living room features a large glass sliding door to a second private oceanfront deck. Perfect location! Inside of the house set up great! Just 2 little suggestions maybe update the cookware a little and there's no place to wash your feet off coming in from the beach. Regardless of those 2 little things we had a great time and loved the place. We'll be back for sure!

Perfect Location

This is our second time staying in this home on the beach. We love it! Very clean, everything you could need in the kitchen, nice decor, and you can not beat the location! The beach is literally your front yard!

Summer vacation

Great stay. Bedrooms on first floor. Kitchen and family room on top. Great views of ocean. Love being able to walk straight to ocean. Make sure you close doors to keep air conditioning working great. Take time to cool back down.

Great location but it’s seen better days. With the house sooo close to the water, I can see where you wouldn’t want to put a ton of cash into upgrades. Some decluttering of the pantry, master bedroom closet, storage area under the house and laundry shelf would improve the house. Some extra stuff can be helpful but there is just too much stuff and some is old and broken or expired. If we had little kids, I would worry a bit about the cracked floor tiles as those can cut you. And, one thing we noticed….there are no drinking glasses. We were all adults on this trip and really enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect for 2 couples and 2 kids.

Cleanliness not up to par.

Overall we had a good time,(never had a bad day when at the beach).Otherwise the cleanliness of the property wasn't up to standards as far as rentals go. There was hair in the downstairs bathroom sink and tub. The kitchen wasn't very organized and the trashcan needed a good cleaning. Also the description stated, queen, full and singles, with queen sleeper sofas. Both of the bedroom beds were queen. Had to go out and buy another set of queen. The slider on the bottom floor wouldn't open from the outside. Was locked out numerous times. Will return to Topsail, just not at this property again.

Location is right on the beach which is what was expected the house itself is very rough everything works surprisingly decks are in very rough condition house has obviously weathered a few storms both loveseat and couch were broken upon arrival couch leg rest was up and couldn’t be put down loveseat was broken upon arrival as well also woke to a contractor pounding on the house on the outside at 8 am and after being lied to by the rental company about them not knowing why he was there but they would get it stopped in 10 minutes and they would call us back both of which never happened also blocked the only door with ladders so we couldn’t get out without sliding to the side but other than that was just fine other than high tide flooded the beach access every single time

Wonderful oceanfront location and views

We loved the location - at the top of the island but only 15-20 minutes to groceries/gas/food. SO close to the water which was high in our wishlist. Pretty quiet, and gorgeous views greater than 180 degrees. Fyi, water was quite rough many days - low tide is the best bet with kids. Lots of fun critters to find in the tide pools - we found a ton of crabs, hermit crabs, and small fish, and even some surprises including a small ray, a flounder, a shrimp, and some really cool Mudskipper-type fish. Property was fine - came with some typical downsides of rentals, like non-draining tubs, dirty or broken kitchenware, subpar A/C, things like that. For the price, I think at least some of these things could be improved. But it was overall just fine, kitchen was large with a huge peninsula and bar stools, couches were comfortable, and it had two oceanfront decks. Side note - there was no beach access from the decks on the back of the house - you have to use the front door and stairs and walk through the sand under the house. No big deal on the way out but not great for keeping sand out of the house - you have to walk through sand after rinsing off at the hose. Swings were a fun touch for the kids. FYI, Oceans Edge restaurant at the condos down the road was terrible. Gorgeous views, but service was average to bad, and food was absolutely awful. Go anywhere else. We had way better food at the SeaView Pier restaurant and pretty good pizza and subs from Baked.

Great Location!

We did enjoy our stay, but the cleanliness definitely needed paid attention to better. We had to clean the toilets and bathtubs prior to using them. There were some dishes that were dirty and just put back in the cabinets (I understand how this could be missed since previous guests could have just put it back and it didn’t get seen until a new guest arrived to use said item). The “baby” items that were available definitely need updated. But that wasn’t a huge deal, my kiddos are 2 and 4 so we didn’t HAVE to use them. It was the perfect setup for our family though. We really enjoyed the quietness of the area and the ease of access to the beach. It was very nice to be able to put the toddlers to sleep and still have their monitor reach my setup outside along the beach. I would have addressed the cleanliness sooner, but I didn’t see the sticker on the welcome packet stating “if you have issues with cleanliness of your property upon check-in, please contact ___”. My mother checked in before us so I didn’t see the envelope of the packet until the night before departing. If anyone wants to reach out about it, I’ll be more than happy to go into further detail about this issue. One thing that did make it difficult with the kids is that none of the bathtubs would allow you to plug the drain to give them an actual bath and not a shower. Just a heads up on that issue. With all this being said, it was still a wonderful vacation and I’d stay here again with issues resolved.
