This was our second stay at the property and it was just as amazing as the first. The property is in a great location, is very well maintained, and a great option for those with young kids. The hosts were very communicative and made it a really easy process for us.

The home was just as 'advertised.' It was spacious... well equipped... comfortable... PERFECT! Beachside Village was quiet and that also made our stay enjoyable! Next time we head to Galveston island, we will certainly see if this property is available!

This is our fourth year for staying at this lovely home. When we talk about going back to the beach in Galveston, this is where my family wants to stay and assumes we will stay. The property is well-kept and well-furnished and is a two-minute walk to the beach on a grassy median between other houses in the development. The hosts are responsive and we have never had issues. Highly recommend.

Loved the Purple Pelican. Excellent location! We had a great time even though we went were there was a Sargassum seaweed problem in Galveston. The location to the beach was wonderful - all the bedrooms were so nice and my family had ample room to spread out and relax. We loved the outside seating areas. The kitchen was well stocked and so easy to just buy groceries and cook. We will definitely be back!

The house was fabulous and well equipped. A second toaster with a family of 7 would have been greatly appreciated. The views were spectacular and the short walk to the beach was great. So nice to have the space to stretch out and be comfortable for the whole family. If we are every back in the Galveston beach area, i would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

One of the greatest vacation rentals we've stayed in over the course of 20 years. We were there for our son's graduation from UTMB and the Purple Pelican made for the perfect home base. The beach is right there and you can see the Gulf of America from the beautiful porch. This place exceeded our expectations and is even nicer than the pictures display. Highly recommend.

Our family loves staying at the Purple Pelican! The owners are terrific and every time we go they have updated the house in some way so it is always fresh and new. Everything is perfect for us. The kitchen has two ovens which really helps and check-in is seamless. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Beautiful Property

This house is as advertised, it’s very spacious with deck access from every bedroom and is walking distance from the beach. Really enjoyed our stay here. The owner Mr. Henrich was awesome, would highly recommend this property.
