Villa Laurence Olivier up to 8, heated private pool - dogs ok - 3 parking spaces

A comfortable and well-equipped 3-star luxury villa, just 10 minutes from the beaches
Enjoy an exceptional stay in this fully air-conditioned villa, ideal for up to 8 people. You’ll have access to a private, secure saltwater swimming pool (9.40 m x 3.90 m), maintained at around 26°C from mid-April to mid-October (weather permitting). Please note that our accommodation is not recommended if you have children who cannot swim, due to the central location of the pool.
The property offers approximately 140 m² of living space, divided between the main villa (120 m²) and an annex (20 m²), all fully equipped. The property comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, 2 WCs, a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a spacious living area, a mezzanine, an entrance hall and a cellar. The fourth bedroom and the second shower room, located in the annexe facing the pool, provide a comfortable layout. WiFi (fibre), bed linen, towels and household linen are provided free of charge.
Your enclosed, tree-lined plot of 1,300 m², featuring 3 terraces (one of which is under a pergola), has a barbecue, a plancha and a full set of garden furniture. Also available to you: 5 bicycles on request, as well as books and games.
Practical information: Private car park with 3 spaces and a charging point for electric vehicles.
The village is within walking distance. The surrounding footpaths and the nearby lake offer superb walks right on your doorstep.
We live on site in two outbuildings situated to the side and at the rear of the property. Our living areas and yours are completely separate and offer total privacy, ensuring your peace and quiet. Your dogs are welcome (up to 3 per stay).
The 1,500 m² property is ideally situated for exploring the region. We are on the edge of a village steeped in history, offering all essential amenities, in a peaceful setting. Our accommodation is open from April to the end of October, as well as during the Christmas holidays.

The weather didn't cooperate, but we had a nice stay. Special merits to the owners who are so very nice.Lots of interesting things to do and see.We think about coming back in the next two or three years.

Communication was excellent right from booking and throughout our stay. The hosts were on hand via text whenever we needed them and despite living at the back of the property, we hardly saw them. When we did, they were extremely friendly and gave us advice on events happening in the town. Our adult daughter and partner asked to stay for longer with us so that they could spend time with our adult son and family who were joining us later in the holiday; Laurence was so helpful, providing us with additional bed linens and towels. The villa was lovely and had everything we needed- aircon was amazing in all rooms, including the annexe. Beds were very comfortable!Absolutely loved the outside areas, so many places to sit for sunbathing and for shade. The pool was the best we have ever had. There were ten of us at one point in the holiday and there was ample room for us all to play water polo! It was the first holiday for our dogs and they were so welcomed by the hosts. They even had their own paddling pool to cool off. We took our own towels, bedding, bowls etc for them, but they were all provided for us anyway. A selection of gifts for us on arrival really made us feel special. Mark loved the cold beers after such a long drive from the UK!We felt very safe and secure with locked gates to the property and there was plenty of space to park our cars within the grounds.The town itself is lovely and quiet. A short walk to a small number of restaurants/bars. Loved it all!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Laurence und Olivier sehr genossen. Die Villa ist super. Sehr sauber, großzügige Räume, phantastischer Garten mit Pool, groß genug, um sich mit 7 erwachsenen Personen aus dem Weg zu gehen. Laurence und Olivier sind herzliche Gastgeber, die zwar mit auf dem Grundstück wohnen, aber in keinster Weise stören. Für Hilfe sind sie immer da, ansonsten hört und sieht man sie kaum. Ganz liebe Menschen, die beiden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, es gibt alles was man benötigt, um Urlaub zu machen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Lage ist super. Schnell am Strand (wir waren mit unserer kleinen Hündin immer am Plage de la Marende), schnell in Spanien. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder. Vielen Dank an Laurence und Olivier. Simone mit Familie

vacances paisibles et bien reposantes

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison spacieuse, moderne et bien équipée, avec un jardin arboré et fleuri, une piscine d'une taille de rêve rien que pour nous, avec des transats, un hamac sous les palmiers, des fauteuils à l'ombre ou au soleil, selon l'envie. Palau Del Vidre est un endroit calme pour se reposer, proche des plages, des vignes et des montagnes, ainsi les activités peuvent être variées. Le climat nous convenait très bien, pas de chaleur étouffante. Les propriétaires Laurence et Olivier nous ont bien accueilli et sont restés à notre disposition si besoin. Le fait qu'ils habitent à proximité était pratique pour l'entretien de la piscine, pour remplacer la bouteille de gaz du barbecue ou de la plancha. Ils sont vraiment charmants et discrets.
