Hello, We understand your frustration. However, your host on site has sent you messages on WhatsApp to try and resolve the issue amicably, but we haven't received a response from you. It is extremely rare that we charge our guests, but we would have appreciated it if you had informed us of the problems. These things happen, and we would have understood better. We found sheets stained with urine and others with blood in the closets. You could have washed them in the washing machine, out of respect for the cleaning staff. In addition, the bins were overflowing and not emptied, the refrigerators contained watermelons cut in half, the parasol was torn off, the padlock on a personal locker had been forced, the outdoor sofa was ripped, and the large living room rug was stained with green markers on a white background. It is the extent of the damage and the fact that, when we asked you if everything was alright, you replied that there were no problems that justify this charge. We did our best to limit the costs, knowing that a parasol alone costs nearly €500, the rug over €300... You told the host on site that you were delighted with your stay upon your departure. She simply sent you photos and informed you of the various problems encountered; managing customer relations is part of her job. In response, you threatened her and clearly indicated that you would leave negative reviews. Please be aware that we always prioritize amicable solutions before deducting part of the security deposit. However, having received no response from you, and given the threats made against the host and the significant damage, we were forced to withhold a minimum amount. Thank you for your understanding. Debbie, Thank you for your comment, which has been carefully considered. The beds are provided with a fitted sheet, a duvet with a duvet cover, and two to four pillows with pillowcases. There is one bath towel per person, a hand towel, and a bath mat in each bathroom. We don't always provide extra sheets and towels, but we can provide them upon request. Merci pour votre commentaire. Nous prenons en considération vos remarques au sérieux. Cependant toutes nos literies possèdent des surmatelas et nos matelas sont neufs ou moins de trois ans. En général vous avez le nécessaire pour commencer votre séjour (papier toilette, gel douche, épices, dosettes café et pour machine, des torchons en tissu ainsi que des boissons de bienvenue. Nous sommes désolé si cela n'a pas été le cas et allons vérifier auprès de l'hôte sur place. Nous sommes enchantés que votre séjour au Portugal soit réussi et espère vous revoir prochainement. Rebecca Thank you for your comment which caught our full attention. The villa is made up of 2 independent houses which are located on a single common plot of land. There are therefore at your disposal 2 separate entrances, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms... Indeed these 2 homes are adjoining and can therefore, if we wish, communicate from the inside. You have at your disposal everything you need to start your stay (kitchen products, trash bag, shower products, etc.) like most villas in Portugal. You have 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 pool towel and bed linen for each person. Indeed, if you want a hotel service, this is possible at an additional cost. We have voluntarily chosen to offer this service at an additional cost so as not to increase the rental price and to give tenants free choice when booking.
