Enjoy your family ski vacation at our rustic and spacious home. This newly remodeled, exposed beam rustic cabin with vintage charm is located 6 miles from 7-Springs Resort and close to Sanaview Farms, and Hidden Valley. Gather the family around the firepit area or one of the three big stone fireplaces, relax on the deck, play in the large dog-friendly yard. Three bedrooms upstairs with several beds or pull outs, along with couches and space to sleep on the bottom floor. Rustic, older home with recent upgrades throughout and lots of room to relax inside and out.

A great find!

The property was as advertised. We found the beds and linens top notch and very comfortable. There are plenty of blankets and plenty of places to stretch out on a couch or recliner for a snooze in front of a fire. It is a relatively short drive to Seven Springs for skiing and many great hikes within a 30 minute drive. I hope it's available the next time we are in the area.

Christmas with family and ski/snowboarding in 7 Springs

This house was great for our family celebration. We had relatives from Ohio, Indiana and Brazil join us so we could combine Christmas celebration and daytime skiing in 7 Springs. The house was comfortable, clean with enough room for everyone. There was plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, towels. We had a great time.

Family getaway

Overall it was good. Bedrooms didn’t quite work for us, but we made do. Great fence in area for dogs, and young kids.

About the host

Hosted by Bethany Lucente

The original portion of the house was built by my parents back in 1965 as a weekend ski cabin. They enjoyed the mountains and skiing so much that it became their permanent home where they decided to raise a family. Over the years, the small cabin grew into the house that you see before you. We have spent the last several years remodeling and redecorating, so that others could enjoy modern amenities in a rustic setting.

Why they chose this property

The house is spacious with a large property and plenty of parking, so family and friends can escape to the mountains and relax. You can enjoy just hanging around the house, or there are a multitude of adventures located near by. From 7-Springs and Hidden Valley, to peaceful walking and biking trails or a short drive to Ohiopyle and Falling Water. This is a wonderful place to enjoy any season of the year.
