Gourmet kitchen, elegant antique appointments, we have spent the past 4 years pulling out the unique characteristics of the era and updating it for today's style of living.
6 bedrooms.....4 new baths, unique and very dramatic barn suite....lush gardens,
kayaks, fishing boats, canoes, and windsurfers.

A Magical Place

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Manor House and Seed Barn. It’s a beautiful property that’s full of history, art and natural beauty. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone that loves to cook (large gas range, plenty of workspace, multiple sinks, variety of spices, cast iron, copper, you name it). Plenty of sleeping options for our extended family of 12. Great bathrooms - all with with roomy, tiled showers. Everyone (aged 8-80!) loved the cove and salt pond - kayaking, canoeing, searching for starfish and crabs, jumping off the bridge, seeing the eagles. Gorgeous gardens and outdoor spaces for relaxing, kicking a soccer ball or reading one of their many books . Lee Lee, our host, gave us many great tips for exploring the area based on our interests and even helped us plan a lobster dinner. We had a blast and would recommend this property for any large group wanting to enjoy all Maine has to offer and not be right in the thick of tourist crowds. It was an easy drive to Bangor, Acadia/Bar Harbor, Deer Isle, and lots of other little towns worth exploring nearby.
