We enjoyed a relaxing week at Amelia Island! The condo was very well equipped. It is situated on the 3rd floor (no elevator) so this may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The screened-in porch overlooks a pond where we saw blue heron, egrets and turtles. The area where the condo is situated is very quiet and peaceful. The beach was easy and convenient to get to-through a path and across the street. Restaurants are very convenient to access as well. Trish was wonderful to communicate with and very prompt with replying to any questions I had. I would definitely book with her again!

Home away from home

This was our 3rd year on Amelia island as well as staying at Amelia landings and our 2nd year in this condo. We felt like we had come home! So comfortable and clean. We love the lake and watching the alligator (& babies!), how quiet it is, the pool, the jungle path to the beach & all of Trish’s magic touches in the condo. We will be back next year! Thank you for hosting us!

Great stay at Island Treehouse

We had a great stay at the Island Treehouse- everything we needed was supplied and the location was central to everything on the Island. The condo was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the screened in back deck!

Our family had the most relaxing, amazing time. We will 100% be returning to this hidden gem, often. We have family that lives in Yulee, vacation spot is perfect, it’s close to the beach, to shopping and restaurants.. also to our family.

Perfect Place in Amelia Island

Love the back porch for sitting and listening to the birds with the water view. So close to the beautiful beach and live music at Sliders. Great location and well appointed accommodations. I'll be back!

Home away from home

My husband and I love staying in this Amelia Island Treehouse. It’s quiet, just enough space, convenient to the beach, shopping, restaurants. This is our second time this year, we have stayed a week each time (May, September) such a relaxing stay both times. We will continue coming back.

Had a great time -- Great location short walk to Pubs and beach - - There is a bike / walk path that runs through a nature preserve ---about 3 miles that starts at rear of Residence inn across street and ends in town. The unit is on 3rd floor and is walk up only --may not be suitable for everyone.

Great patio area overlooking a pond. Got to see alligator & turtles several days!! Spent much time relaxing on the patio. Such a peaceful setting. Also many extras available.

Last min vakay

Beautiful accommodation and so user friendly; had everything labeled so we didn't have to look for anything. Owner responded within minutes to any questions we had. Beds were very comfy! Plenty of beach towels and beach toys for a day on the beach. We really didnt want to leave this little piece of heaven. ONLY drawback: it's on third floor and no elevator, BUT that only gave our calves an exercise which is good. Most definitely will book again.

Empty nest vacation

The unit is nice and well maintained. The beach is much further than a few steps away so this was a little misleading. The beach is nice and pool is close by so you have options. All supplies are provided but it is a job to pack everything up and down 4 flights of stairs and pull it down a path over to the beach access point and through the dunes.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Our family had a great time. We have two kids (8 and 4) and the property was perfect for our family. The location was great. We loved sitting out on the back deck and spotting the turtles! The walk to the beach was not bad. We loaded the beach equipment in a wagon and we’re able to pull it down the path. The beach equipment in the unit was perfect as well. Thank you for providing that. We also loved the pool area. It is a great size and the kids had a wonderful time there. Thanks again for a great stay!

Everything we wanted in a condo at the beach!

The condo is charming and comfortable, as well as clean and well stocked. The quiet complex is surrounded by beautiful woods, next to a nature reserve. It's a short walk to the beach, and restaurants, shopping and area attractions are conveniently close by. The on-site pool is pretty, quite large and well maintained. Trish is a gracious superhost, who quickly responded to our requests and thoughtfully provided all that we needed. She made us feel welcome and right at home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, finding it a cozy and peaceful place to rest after our fun in the sun on Amelia and Cumberland Islands! Renting on Vrbo for the first time, we were reassured by the easy process, and glad we had found everything we wanted in a condo for our week at the beach at an affordable cost.

Excellent Location

This is a lovely property. The condo is the perfect size for a couple or small family. It is nicely equipped with all the essentials. It is on the third level; no elevator, so bear that in mind. For us, it was a great way to get in some steps. We really enjoyed the deck…morning coffee and evening wine. We spotted the turtles sunning themselves and an owl visited one evening. The pool has sun and shade areas and lots of loungers.. The entire complex was quiet and restful. The canopied grounds are lovely. Having use of the laundry was a bonus. All in all, the condo was an excellent base for exploring the Island and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Beautiful Condo on Amelia Island

The condo was spacious, clean, attractive, and comfortable. We loved the screened in deck overlooking the trees and pond. The only criticism is that we weren't able to control the temperature of the condo on our own. We needed to text Trish to make changes, which she immediately did. However, this should have been disclosed in the listing. We were not aware of it until we made our final payment and received detailed information.

Relaxing time on Amelia Island

The villa was very clean and well maintained. The unit is on the third floor, which is very private and quiet, but may not work well for those with mobility issues. The unit has plenty of extra towels and a starter supply of paper products. The kitchen has all the basic cooking equipment and there is a grill right next to the building. The beach cart is great and a lifesaver on the walk to the beach. It is nice to have the private path down to the beach, but the vegetation was very overgrown and the boardwalk had a lot of rotting boards. I’m not sure which complex maintains this path, but it definitely needs some work. The villa is located close to public beach parking and even an a designated spot for 4WD vehicles to park on the beach, for those that prefer to do that. There are also public bathrooms close to the beach entrance which were very handy. We very much enjoyed our first trip to Amelia Island and our stay in this villa.

Wonderful place in a great location

Everything about this condo was great! It is exactly as described, location is excellent, and it was very clean. Trish was very responsive and made sure we had all the details prior to arriving and even checked in to make sure all was good when arrived. There is a binder with condo details and places to eat and things to do which was nice for reference. We did not use the kitchen other than to store water in the fridge as we like to try local restaurants on vacation, but it seemed well equipped with cooking items and is labeled for ease in finding what would be needed if one wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure. The screened in porch was nice and would be a good spot to read or relax if that is something you enjoy. We prefer exploring and really used the condo for showering and sleeping so we did not really spend tons of time inside since the weather was perfect. The location was ideal and convenient to the beach and there is even a greenway entrance right across the street at the back of the Residence Inn which we really liked. Also close to downtown historic district and marina and you can walk to ice cream and a few restaurants as well. Fort Clinch was also a highlight for us between the hiking and touring the fort itself. Thank you for the hospitality, Trish! We had an excellent vacation and hope to be back soon!

The place was very clean, all the cupboards and drawers were labeled with what was in them, plenty of towels, kitchen implements, etc. The balcony was screened in and was a real plus. I don't remember the listing ever saying it was on the third floor, which could be a real detriment for some people. No problem for us, it was great.

We had a great time staying here. The space was big enough for 2 adults and 2 tweens. The kitchen had everything we needed to have some breakfasts, lunches and a few dinners…saving some money as dining for 4 in Amelia Island is not cheap. We were able to log into our streaming services on the TV to watch stuff together. The pool is large and the water temp was great. It’s a quick walk and we had lots of fun there. The beach is walkable and there is a cart, chairs, cooler and beach umbrellas and enough beach towels, so you have everything you need. Best of all the beach is drive on with a 4x4 vehicle so if you don’t want to walk you can get there easily and enjoy the beach. The Beach. The Pool. The Fort. Center Street Shops. Lots of Good Restaurants. Plenty to do. Great Laid Back Vacation.Communication with Trish was very easy and she responded quickly. For someone who usually always wants to be right on the beach, we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again if we decide to come back to Amelia Island.

Wonderful place to stay, easy to check in and out. Very well equipped, we needed nothing more. Beds are comfortable. Great location looking down into the pond and being up amongst the trees. Screened in balcony is a perfect place to relax especially for breakfast listening to and seeing the birds. Trish was very easy to communicate with, quickly responding to any questions we had. The apartment is on the third floor which may present difficulties for some. Plenty of parking spaces. Not far to walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend this place.

Hi. I'm Trish, your host. My family and I have been coming to Amelia Island for years and we just love it here. It helps that we have family here as well. After twenty plus years of operating my own small business I retired and decided to explore the vacation rental business. It's been my dream to be on permanent vacation someday. I hope you enjoy our place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a turn key operation and this property came up for sale. Maybe I am partial because its ours but I really think our house in the treetops offers the best in privacy, comfort, and the most amazing views of Florida wildlife. We love that we are just a 7 minute walk away from the beach and if it gets too hot we can retreat to our lofty balcony nestled in the shade of the tall oak trees.

What makes this property unique

This location is convenient to everything on the island. Downtown, beaches, museums, state parks, restaurants, nightlife, grocery, shopping you name it. Step out onto the front landing and hear the waves crashing on the beach. Every day brings wildlife to our backyard. There are wood storks, herons, alligators, turtles and more. Best of all is that you will leave here feeling refreshed and spiritually renewed. Despite our little community being tucked away and surprisingly quiet, everything is just a few minutes away or within walking distance. Walk (10 minutes) or drive (1 minute) to the beach. Want to see more? Historic St. Augustine is just a short drive. You'll never run out of things to see and do.
