RECOMMENDATIONS AND SOME THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA - Recommendation- For top eateries and attraction we recommend booking early as many places get sold out. Restaurants are especially difficult as this area has a shortage of wait-staff. - Harper Brothers- They are across the street. They also have a fantastic store that serves Starbucks coffee and desserts. - See Amazing Views and/or Ride a Horse- The Harp Brothers also have the Hawk Skylift. Included at the top is a viewing deck with free water, Moonpies (a common theme), rocking chairs and games. You can also ride a horse...at the bottom of course. Both are located at the red barn behind their large store. - Do a Tennessee Moonshine tasting session at the Tennessee Shine Co- Only 3 minutes away. Moonshine and Moonpies. - Axe throwing and Beer? What could go wrong? These are two highly rated Axe throwing places that both also serve craft beer and food. They are both in Pigeon Forge. Country Road Axe Co or Axe House - Drive Through the Smoky Mountain Park. The entrance is only 8 minutes away. - Drive Through Cades Cove Scenic Loop. It is 25 minutes away and 11 miles long with amazing views. Try to go early as it does get crowded. - See a Waterfall- Laurel Water fall is 10 minutes away. A short hike gets you to the waterfall. - Go Rafting- Townsend has several rafting companies. 9 minutes away. River Rat Rafting is the closest but there are many good ones. - See a Smoky Mountain "top 10 View"- Look Rock is 30 minutes away. - Get some good Southern Cooking- Elvira's Southern Cafe- Across the street offering Southern eats like pork chops & hamburger steak. - More Food- If you head towards Pigeon Forge and go just past the Hillbilly Cafe, they set-up some excellent food trucks (typically Weekend Only). - Zip Lining- Want to try? It's only 10 minutes away at Wears Valley Ziplining. If you're willing to travel a bit further try the highly rated ClimbWorks.

Pros and Cons: Pros: The cabin was clean and in a good location. It was less than 15min from just about everything. The owner was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. It was a good value for the money. Cons: I should have paid closer attention as we are elderly. The beds were low to the ground on platform frames that were only a few inches off the floor. That probably is not a problem for younger people, but for older people or someone with back problems it was not ideal. The yard had not been mowed, but we didn't take a pet so it wasn't an issue. We did have a water issue, but the owner was quick to fix it and we were only without water for one day. Also take note that the beds upstairs in the loft area is an open area. No privacy. Only the bed downstairs is in a private room. All in all it was a decent value and a convenient location.
We had a lovely week staying at this cabin and exploring the Smoky Mountains a short drive from here. We spent 4 days hiking different trails and were so grateful to come home and soak in the hot tub :) The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, easy to find and conveniently located near some restaurants/gas. If we're in the area again, we'd definitely love to stay here again!

Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad you got some great hiking in.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and loved the location! It wasn’t in the middle of everything busy, but was only about 10 minutes from everything happening in pigeon forge. It was very peaceful and plenty of beds to sleep everyone comfortably!

We visited during the week of Christmas. There was nothing festive about the cabin…inside or out. The pictures were definitely deceiving. Parking was not the greatest but manageable and the outside appearance was at most, satisfactory.
The cabin was in a convenient location within a 20 min drive to close towns. It was in the woods but the hill to get to the cabin wasn’t bad at all! The beds were very comfortable and loved the hot tub! Didn’t see any bears but read they had been spotted in the area. Would definitely recommend.
There are lots of positives about this property. Mountains are our first priority then attractions so the location in Wears Valley was perfect for us. It’s also close to gray food. The property was exactly s as shown and described and it was very clean. The only negative was the low water pressure in the shower. Not sure what’s up with that. All in all we were very satisfied.
What a beautiful cabin! We enjoyed our stay- so spacious- the kids took over the top level. Very comfy beds, cozy and clean. Enjoyed a little snow on our day home. Close to attractions and restaurants- so much to do!
Had everything we needed for a weekend getaway! Home was clean, directions were great so we could easily find the cabin and was able to get in contact with owner when needed!

Lovely cabin
Needs up dating, kitchen not well equipped, no curtains on most of windows, could stand new furniture, and arranged better.

Thanks for your review and sorry you did not find everything up to par. The furniture and accessories are less than 2 year old with beds and sofas less than 1 year old. The cabin is not new however. There are curtains on all bedroom and bathroom windows but not on the living room windows where people like to look out. We will talk to the cleaning crew about the kitchen. We have most of everything, cooking utensils, bowls, plates, strainers, coffee cups, regular cups, cutting boards, serving trays, pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster oven, stove top/stove, microwave etc to cook a meal so not sure what, if anything, is missing but we will certainly ask our staff. Thanks.
Everything was as listed! We had a great stay. The beds were very comfortable and it was a cute Duplex cabin. Daniel was great and easy to contact if we needed anything. The location was perfect for us! We stayed in the National park most of our time, but it’s only a short distance to either Pigeon forge or Gatilnburg if your looking for in town attractions.
This cabin had great indoor and outdoor spaces for our family to gather together. I loved the spacious open kitchen, dining, and living space. Also, really liked that their were enough beds for 5, not including the futon or couch. The beds were very low to the ground, somewhat challenging for senior family members but they were incredibly comfortable. If you are a coffee drinker, make sure to try Heavenly Roast just down the road towards Pigeon Forge, it was delicious!
Everything was good. Only complaint is the keeping of maintenance on the property, one of the stairs broke from the wood rotting as one of us was going down the stairs. Everything else was great
