The Cove House in Southern Maryland is located on Price Cove, convenient to the St. Mary's River, Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay); the property is rich with outdoor activities, as well as more than ample room for activities indoors; providing a perfect location for multi-family reunions, get-aways, vacations, and events.
An updated old farmhouse retains some of its original 1940s character with original hardwood floors. The 1980s addition offers ample room for indoor entertaining.
The first floor contains a fully equipped kitchen, mud/laundry room with an additional refrigerator, 1/2 bath, formal dining room, open game room, spacious living/additional dining room. The Parlor room can serve as game room or a quiet reading room. The first floor is supplemented with two screened porches, one off of the dining room with picnic table, and another off of the living room with comfortable seating and side tables; as well as a small deck off of the kitchen that includes an outdoor gas grill.

All rooms have views of the property as well as deer and other wildlife that frequently graze on the airstrip.
Outdoors provides acres of flat open grassy area. The beach and boat ramp are located approximately 2000 feet from the house. A golf cart is provided and a dirt drive running the length of the property provides easy and private access. The boat ramp serves small to medium size boats, and provides access to the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. The beach area is great for swimming, relaxing, or observing local shore birds. The beach area is supplemented with a pier, perfect for fishing and crabbing, as well as a fire pit and chairs for amazing camp fires under the stars. We have 3 kayaks (1 tandem and 2 singles) as well as two stand up paddleboards available for your use to explore the vast waterfront, coves, and lagoons that surround the property. We maintain a porta-potty near the beach and boat ramp to minimize trips back and forth to the house.
