Weekend Getaway

Booked this for a little weekend getaway and it was perfect! Condo was beautiful, beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Pools for the littles and right on the beach. We did have a scare at first with the wrong door code but was able to get in touch with the host easily and got the correct info.

The condo was NOT clean when we arrived. There was trash on the floor: dirty qtips, hair bands, old hair clogging the shower drains, razor caps in the shower drain, food smudged on the sliding door, mold on the shower curtain of the second bathroom. Only 3 wash cloths to split amongst the 5 of us. The communication with the host was adequate. Michael stated he would refund the cleaning fee. We also stayed an extra day because the weather was so nice. Still waiting on the refund to the cleaning fee… The beds were comfy but the sheets were questionable since the cleaning service hardly did their job. The duvet inserts were on the bed with no duvets,lots of stains on them. Some of the pillows didn’t have pillowcases on them when we arrived & appeared dirty. It was frustrating that I had to spend my first day of vacation cleaning the entire condo. The main kitchen light also did not work. We cooked in the dark the entire trip. The outlets were not working either in the master bedroom. As for location, the condo was located in the heart of OB, minutes from all the local attractions/restaurants( 3 minutes from CoastAL) It was very convenient. We were not too fond of the loud riffraff noise at the pool until after midnight most nights. The last Phoenix we stayed at was much quieter than Phoenix V. Overall, I would not stay here again for the price we paid. I was very appreciative of the timely response of the owner, just displeased at the overall condition of the condo.
