**Mountain Serenity**

Our fully furnished and tastefully decorated cedar chalet is situated in a gated mountainside community. This vacation chalet has a gas log fireplace, oak floors and pine tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings.

Year-round access, open decks, and beautiful mountain views makes this a perfect vacation getaway. Motorcycle friendly with paved roads and a 2 car garage.

15 minutes to historic downtown Murphy and 20 minutes to Blairsville GA. Close to lakes for enjoying water sports.

45 minutes from the NOC and 30 minutes from the Ocoee River for whitewater rafting. Within 20 minutes from 2 golf courses.

The John C. Campbell Folk School is 5 miles away.
No smoking inside the chalet and no pets.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
All dishes are put away and stove, oven and kitchen appliances are clean. All trash is in the can in the garage. Charcoal or gas grill is clean, and propane is off. All windows and doors are locked.
All lights are turned off to conserve energy. Thermostat is set to 60 degrees when on the heat setting and 80 degrees on the cool setting, depending on the outside temperature.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Perfect getaway

Perfect long weekend getaway, the cabin was easy to get to in a comfortable friendly neighborhood. Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful view and we enjoyed the deck. Cozy peaceful serenity, we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property and location

A beautiful cabin in the woods. Very peaceful and safe neighborhood. Comfortably furnished and well stocked kitchen for cooking, should you choose to. Would not hesitate to stay again if im in the area.

Great getaway

Beautiful place, more than we expected The pictures dont do it justice. Deer came through grazing in the mornings and evenings. Beautiful views, and the location was perfect, just far enough away from town for peace and quiet. Neighbors are friendly...perfect getaway

Riding the mountains.

I’ll hope to be back one day

Very quiet community, if you like wildlife, plenty of deer, birds singing. Great place to take a walk, a lot of hills. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen with all amenities. My favorite was the large deck with comfortable chairs.

Our favorite cabin!

This is our “go to” place when me and my Bestie want a relaxing long weekend away from everything. It’s always clean, comfortable, easy to access (with a garage!), and Heidi is wonderful to work with if anything comes up. We highly recommend Serenity!

Surprisingly fabuluous!

This home is beautiful, quality, decorated so beautifully and cleverly, it is very comfortable, has every possible luxury a person could dream of and is very convenient to so many mountain places. The view is so gorgeous. There is even a garage! The community is gated and well planned and kept very nice. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful View

This home has everything you need or could want. The kitchen was well stock, with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc. The decor was clean, comfortable, spacious and relaxing inside and outside. The views from the wrap around porch were gorgeous. The neighbors were welcoming and friendly. We definitely would stay here again.

Perfect getaway at Serenity

The house in a perfect location 10 minute scenic drive from down town. There is every convenience available at the cabin. We cooked meals every day and used the gas grill on several occasions. The wildlife is plentiful and enjoyed seeing many feet pass through daily. The paved road was a big plus and was near the end of a road giving privacy. We will stay again.

Another great long-weekend stay at Mountain Serenity!

This is our “go to” place when we need a break from city chaos. Everything is clean, with all the required comforts, plus a garage for the car! Access to the area is on well maintained paved roads, but still has plenty of wildlife roaming around to add to the beauty of the location. I was planning to come back in November but this place is already booked, so I’ll need to find another time to return. Don’t hesitate to visit this lovely cabin!

Everything you need …

This property has everything you need to relax and enjoy your mountain visit. The neighbors on their morning walk were pleasant and welcoming, as were the MANY deer that came thru to graze!! We filled the hummingbird feeder for some added wildlife sightings!! The kitchen is fully stocked, shower has great pressure, bedding is great, gliders for outdoor seating made for fantastic visit! HIGHLY recommend mountain serenity. ❤️

close to Folk School

My granddaughter and I attended a week at the John C. Campbell Folk School. This house is about 10 minutes from the campus. The separate bedrooms gave each of us a separate space after a long day of "learning". I chose this property because I drive an electric vehicle, and the garage had several outlets that I could use at night. The Host quickly responded to my inquiries. Yes, I would stay here again.

right at home

This house is in a great location in Murphy, we was able to get everywhere easy. It was a beautiful gated subdivision, everything was paved and neatly manicured. the neighbors were super friendly and we loved chatting with everyone that was out and about. The house was beautiful, big nice high ceilings with huge windows to see out through the mountain. Huge outside porch that we enjoyed watching the deer on. Everything was in great working order( air, hot water, stove, huge fridge and working washer and dryer. The garage was nice and clean and held the motorcycles perfect. Heidi was perfect to communicate with , for sure 10 out of 10!! We would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing location/chalet for motorcycle enthusiasts

Heidi's beautiful Murphy chalet is absolutely the best location and set up for a couple of motorcycle enthusiasts. Not only is the location absolutely the best for riding but the chalet is perfect with a double garage that holds a trailer and 2 big bikes. And still plenty of room outside for our truck!. The chalet has everything you need for a long or short stay! We were there for 11 days and only ate out once. The gas grill is AWESOME and the views from the front and side porches are AWESOME!!! We saw deer and other wildlife several days out of the 11 we were there. And great neighbors as well. Thank you Heidi for sharing your beautiful chalet with us! We will most definitely be back!!

A great stay!

We enjoyed the stay and the cabin is clean and in great condition. Tip: Look closely at the 3 ring binder to find check out requirements. Its a paragraph in the contract document. We missed it the first time, but manager sent it right away when we asked.
