This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a beautiful peaceful place to stay with so many fun activities close by. Excellent WiFi if you need to work. The hike up to the gazebo offers a great way to get exercise and beautiful Mountain views!
We loved the cabin! It had everything we needed. The owner took care of the lack of ESPN. I would take it seriously when the owner suggested 4 wheel drive for the driveway.
Nice isolated cabin close enough to Blue Ridge and Harrah’s Casino which my wife and adult daughters and son in laws spent time at along with quality time at the fire pit an excellent experience.
Wonderful stay in the NC Countryside. We had an event to attend in Murphy and this was great for the whole family. Very clean, spacious rooms, and a very cool fire pit.
The cabin was lovely. A lot of road noise but if you don’t mind that it’s fine. The driveway was a bit tough to get up. Overall it was a nice stay we really enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit and grilling.
Very nice and romantic for the 2 of us. Loved the cabin it was nice and clean. Wished we could have spent more time there. I would recommend this house to everyone who's looking for a quiet getaway
We enjoyed this pet friendly cabin very much, it was close to the rafting in Ocoee. We loved hiking to the gazebo and enjoyed the large deck. Cabin was well stocked and we would for sure rent again in the future.
A very beautiful cabin that was so peaceful. My husband & I loved the location & the actual cabin itself. We stayed for two nights & enjoyed every minute of it. We even saw some random snow flurries. I highly recommend this place.
This cabin sits up a steep drive with areas to walk and explore all around - a gorgeous view at the top. Cabin has all the amenities, all the kitchen essentials that we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. We were 4 adults, 2 children, and a golden retriever and it was perfect for us!
This wonderful cabin was conveniently located an easy 20-30 minute drive from at least three great mountain biking and hiking areas. The owner was among the easiest with whom we've ever worked and the cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed ourselves!
First time my wife and I stayed at a Cabin. And were you able to bring our recently rescued dog Blue. He absolutely love the place as did we!
What a amazing place to wake up in every morning with an gorgeous view.
Thanks a ton for letting us stay at you cabin!
The cabin location was great, easy drive to town, had everything we needed for the stay. The real tree set it off nicely! The driveway didn’t disappoint, I always try and book something that you need 4x4 to get to, just get get off the beaten path. Thanks!
This cabin was exactly what we needed (and dog friendly!). We were right in the middle of all the activities we wanted to do and had no nearby neighbors. The cabin had anything you could possibly need! The driveway was a bit of a struggle but we did get a lot of rain and I think that had something to do with it. Would definitely stay here again!
This property was wonderful! Its location was convenient to Murphy and the casino, the cabin was gorgeous and spacious with a beautiful open concept, the property was private with a beautiful hike up to the gazebo which I would definitely recommend! Our dogs loved playing outside and hiking! We would highly recommend and look forward to staying again. Thank you for hosting us!
The cabin was cozy, clean and very welcoming. Beautiful property with a nice hike up to a gazebo with miles of incredible mountain views . Well worth the climb! Great escape for a girls weekend. Note: STEEP driveway was only accessible with 4 wheel drive vehicle. Had to leave other SUV’s at the bottom of the driveway.
Loved the house and the location, I would suggest the owner change the directions. the BBQ place is no longer open and the one sign is covered by trees.
The cabin and property exceed description — check-in could not be easier. Cabin is very clean. Exceptionally private, great spot for a secluded getaway for either a romantic weekend with the spouse or a vacation spot to take the kids. The fire pit is great and well stocked with dry, seasoned wood. The private drive leading to the property continues to the top of the hill where there’s a nice gazebo and great view. As others have said, it would be best if you have 4WD (for the first 100 yards of the driveway) but not 100% required if you’re experienced driving on gravel mountain roads/driveways. Highly recommend, INCREDIBLE VALUE!!

This is not in murphy n.c.
Frist off Johnsonville n.c. is 20 miles from downtown murphy n.c. and the road noise dont calm down until 11-12 midnight but picks back up at 5:30 am now thats the bad here is the good nice house very clean and you are secluded the beds were nice and the porchs were nice to sit out on driveway can made with a two wheel drive but all wheel or 4 wheel drive would be highly recommended
This cabin was amazing! First and most importantly, it was spotless. This was definitely the cleanest rental I've ever seen. Secondly, the size and layout we're both perfect. We had four adults but six adults could have easily stayed comfortably at this cabin. Lastly, the location was great. The cabin is right off of Main Road but set back in the woods. It's a very private setting but only a short drive in to town.
The driveway was definitely a little steep but my SUV made it up with no problem and we didn't even need to use four-wheel drive. I've actually seen steeper streets in San Francisco.
I can recommend this cabin without reservation and I hope it's available next year when we go back to North Carolina!
