The access to the house is only via a paved or concrete path, which is not always the case in “Campo”.
The biggest attraction of Andalusia, the Alhambra in Granada, can be reached in two hours by car. Ronda, where today's Spanish bullfighting was invented (2 hours by car), Gibraltar with its famous monkey rock and duty-free shopping (2.5 hours by car), Cordoba as the former capital of the Caliphate with La Mezquita as a former mosque and today's cathedral (2 hours by car), Seville As the capital of Andalusia with great sights (2.5 hours by car) and Marbella, the glamorous (1.5 hours by car) offer you a glimpse into the past and present of Andalsia.
In the immediate vicinity, a trip to Malaga, birthplace of Picasso with Museo Picasso and Museo Carmen Thyssen, with the old market hall, cathedral and Alcazaba and various shopping opportunities is worthwhile. You should also visit Nerja with its famous stalactite caves and the 'Balcon Europe' (30 minutes).
You can go hiking in the nearby nature reserve above Competa (15 minutes by car).
