We were looking for a cabin in the mountains and this was fantastic. Views were great and the cabin was clean and comfy. The hot tub was a perfect place for us to unwind after a long day of skiing and take in the sunset.

Very nice cabin for a weekend getaway. Air conditioning wasn’t helping upstairs during the day but cooled off at night probably due to all the windows. Overall great stay!!

Best regards,
We really enjoyed ourselves! We spent most evenings on the back deck and in the hot tub, so the privacy was great. Beautiful views of the sky and mountains. Was disappointed the jacuzzi tub wasn’t working, but the hot tub made up for that. We were happy there was an extra night available to stay. Didn’t want to leave.

The cabin was great and the kids loved it! It was perfect because i was worried about bears with little children. It was definitely the perfect location. You all do an excellent job with providing for the guess. I couldnt give it 5 stars and it was no fault of yours. The cabin is a little slanted. You cant feel it when ur standing. You can tell when ur sleeping in the downstairs bedroom and in the hot tub.

No water! No call back!
The property was lovely and my review would be better but I had NO working water from the time of arrival and check in, when I called the emergency line the gentleman said he knew and they were working on it. . Had I known there wasn’t water and someone had called me in advance to let me know I could have stayed home with my kids for Christmas. I called back again and asked to be refunded and was told someone would call me. I still have not been contacted.

So sorry, this was the worst cold blast in 33 years. We had -35 degree wind chill. It took out the water in thousands of houses. We did not know about this cold blast till you were already checked in. We do not give refunds for acts of God. When you booked through VRBO you could have taken out trip Ins. Again sorry about your water.

Good Cabin, Poor Host Experience
Very poor experience with the host, numerous issues with the cabin. When I reported these issues, there was no urgency or any kind of effort of customer service until I had to yell at them. Shower was leaking, I reported it at check in. They told me it was too late in the day to send someone out and to put a towel down and call the next morning. It’s worse on day 2, I call, they say they’re putting in a work order for it, and we go about our day. We get home that evening and the leak is not repaired and there’s water all over the bathroom floor. After hours comes, has to turn the water off for the night and they’ll send someone in the morning. Day 3 I have to call and act like a jerk to finally get someone there, and I’m borderline telling him how to fix it. My family had to bathe and prepare for the day with bottled water. I spent more time and energy on my vacation that I paid for to get this issue fixed like I owned the place. Add in, the closet door in the downstairs bedroom was off the tracks and just propped inside, and the grill is a fire hazard because the grease buildup in the bottom caught fire on preheat. It just seems to be very little effort put into preparing this cabin for use, and less care in their level of customer service. They seemed more concerned with getting me off the phone instead of fixing the problems.

First off the office manager has NO customer service skills whatsoever. Second she is a habitual liar.
The cabin was supposed to be ready at 4:00pm. We got to the cabin a few minutes after 6:00pm. The door code has not been programmed into the lock so we couldn’t get into the cabin. I call the 1-800 number that the rental company said to call when we arrived. No Answer and no voicemail. I then call the 24/7 maintenance number also no answer I left two voicemails. We waited in the car outside the cabin for a hour and a half waiting on a return call from the management company but never got a response from them. So after a hour and a half and making over 25 calls to the 1-800 office number and 24/7 maintenance line we left because it was getting dark and we had a two year old and a five month old plus my wife’s elderly parents. So we decided to go and find other accommodations. The next morning I call the 1-800 number and the office manager answered and I told her what was going on with the locks and that we would like a refund for the rental. She said that they answered calls all night to which I told her that they weren’t answering anything from 6:30 to 7:45. She was dead set that she wanted to see call logs from where I call, so I sent her screenshots of the call logs as an email. She sent back that I was making up that I called. So I went by the office and she held my phone in her hand and looked at the log with her own eyes she then laid the phone down and said that I didn’t call the numbers for the office and the maintenance number. She then tried to say that she reset the locks while we were there, so I asked if she called me to let me know if she fixed the locks. She said no. I asked how is was supposed to know the locks were fixed she said should have keep trying the code. Which I did before we left at 7:45 and it still wasn’t working. I asked was we supposed to just sit in the car all night and she said yes that we shouldn’t have gotten another place. She said we should have drove to there office in pigeon Forge to talk to them yet she said they leave the office at 7:00pm. I asked for a refund because we had to get accommodations somewhere else. And she keep saying No Refunds for any reason. She said we could back to the property but she never gave a working code to get in, and we had all ready settled in the new accommodations. I just want a refund for a rental that we couldn’t use. These people are crooks.

I'm sorry to hear about the negative experience you had with the lock code at our vacation rental. We take all guest complaints seriously, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused during your stay. We understand that you were frustrated with the situation and that you were unable to access the cabin due to the lock code not being programmed.
We would like to investigate the matter further to ensure that our procedures are followed correctly and to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.
Regarding your request for a refund, we understand that you were not able to use the cabin due to the lock code issue, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. However, we do have a strict no-refund policy in place.
Again, we apologize for the negative experience you had, and we appreciate your feedback. You did have a working code and could have stayed in the cabin.
Very nice property. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans. We enjoyed our stay. Just be prepared for steep, winding roads.
