Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Remove all bed sheets and pillowcases and place in laundry room in addition to used towels and washcloths.
All trash and recyclables are to be placed in appropriate bags and put in bins located by the garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We ask that you treat the home with kindness and respect. It is our families home, we live there when it is not rented.
Glass and food is not permitted in the back hallway, pool area or in the gym.
. Children must be accompanied in the pool room, and in the gym. Children are not allowed in the Infaraed Sauna.

Private yet convenient

This was our 4th visit to Kennebunk but first time staying at a vrbo there. The house was great: roomy, clean, well equipped. My husband really enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the solarium in the mornings. We would head out during the day and return to make dinner and relax on the large deck and then, living rm. Every where we went during the day was very accessible. My husband also enjoyed swimming laps in the pool. Stacy was great. Gave us our privacy but responsive when needed. If we return to K, we will def try to stay there!

Vacation rental was excellent, vrbo was difficult

Booking with vrbo was challenging, initially charged twice for the one scheduled rental— hours of time to attempt to resolve the duplicate charges!! Our host was wonderful and accommodating but vrbo has yet to refund $975. Duplicate charge to my credit card account instead telling me to take it up with my bank. Documents have been submitted and I have yet to hear any resolve. Our host and vacation were great.

Truly a very special DREAM HOME :)) Perfect location.

This home is truly a gem. From the minute I arrived, I was greeted by the lovely owner, who made sure everything was perfect for my stay, and gave me a beach pass to use for my entire stay there to park free at the local beaches. I thought that was a really sweet extra that I wasn't expecting. Mother's Beach is beautiful and is just down the road. When I walked into the home, I knew I would have a wonderful stay. The main living area was so pretty and comfy and I just felt immediately at home. It is decorated so nicely and immaculate, surrounded by nature and adorable wildlife. The birds and critters would visit me in the morning as I worked by the window in the greenhouse area or on the back deck. The chef's kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, gadgets, and some extras...coffees, teas, chocolates etc... and just so pleasant to spend time in, had a big island, a wood burning stove, and two wonderful sitting areas. The bedroom was charming, warm and very comfortable, had a smart TV, and the WIFI worked perfectly throughout the home. The private heated saltwater indoor pool was just amazing, to say the least, water was set to a perfect temperature each day, sliders take you out to a beautiful and lush yard with colorful flowers all around. This home is located just down the road from the gorgeous Maine coast and all the Kennebunkport shops. It was truly perfect, a wonderful stay, and I am very much looking forward to renting again.

A Real Find!

It's not very often that something exceeds your expectations. When we saw the photos online for this property, we hoped it would be half as good it looked. In fact, it's twice as good! The outside of the house is beautiful with an immaculately kept lawn. Inside, the home is lovely; large, but cozy, with artworks and interesting pieces throughout. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of counter space to prepare meals. The open space living room and dining room is comfortable and inviting. The master bedroom is perfect for two people, and the bathroom has plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. When we arrived, our hostess, Stacy, had left a welcome sign, the Wi-Fi password, and a beach pass. Although she sometimes is in residence in a downstairs apartment, we only caught a glimpse of her and her beautiful border collie, Chloe. Stacy is an excellent communicator, and answers texts immediately. She is available for all your needs. (She even did our laundry for a nominal fee and did a great job). The piece de résistance is an in-house saltwater pool. I believe this is a new listing on VRBO, but it will soon be one of the hottest properties on the market. We hope to reserve this again next year --- if it’s available!

Wow !!

Ok first of all, WOW! The property? Stunning! The host? Extremely helpful and kind! The experience? The best!! Stacy is so helpful and attentive to questions and is nearby so if we ever needed anything she was there! The property is less than a mile away from the beach and included in the stay was a free beach parking pass! I’ve never felt so at home on vacation!! Thank you!!!!

Just what we wanted!

We had a lovely week in Kinnebunk!This beautiful home was among the most well appointed homes we have ever stayed with so many items provided, from kitchen gadgets to linens and towels. Stacy was a most gracious host and made sure our needs were taken care of. When we let her know the gas grill had run out of gas it was replace super quickly. The pool was just fabulous and a spot we spent lots of time in during an extremely HOT week. Great for relaxing and yet just a short jaunt to the Atlantic. We look forward to a return visit. Oh, and be sure to ask Stacy about Kinnebunk's best kept secret!

Maine offers a unique experience unlike other states. The diverse shoreline, traditional towns and a respect for the landscape makes Maine so welcoming.

Why they chose this property

This property is a lovely space nestled on almost 2 acres bordered by woods just a mile from the ocean and hustle and bustle of the lower village. We appreciate that we can be enjoying dinner at an amazing restaurant, walking the beach, or shopping for a great gift all within a mile from my home. The area is quiet and located on a 25mph road. The neighborhood is quaint and spread out. Neighbors are all friendly and welcoming.
