Our home is designed for togetherness, enjoyment, and relaxation!

LOCATION
- 15 minute WALK (1 mile) to Kennebunkport Dock Square where there are great shops, restaurants, cocktails, & lobster rolls!
- 10 minute drive (2.2 miles) to Kennebunk Beaches (Gooch's, Kennebunk, and Mother's)
- 15 minute drive (6.1 miles) to Goose Rock's Beach
- located in a small neighborhood with very minimal traffic

FAMILY FRIENDLY

We have 4 children, so should have most of what you need:

- Great art room for a rainy day
- Plenty of legos/games/puzzles, kids books, etc.
- Swing set
- Fire pit with marshmallow roasting sticks ready to go

Perfect long weekend stay. House was very family friendly and well stocked with just what we needed and comfortable. My only complaint would be that it could be a little bit cleaner. The art room and the children’s books were a huge hit. The kids loved the trampoline and the adults loved the fire pit!

The house was AMAZING! We were there with our whole family and a toddler and this was the most kid friendly stay! The s’mores materials left by the host was a godsend and the fact that they had a pack and play meant one less thing to travel with (thank god). The house was incredibly clean and well organized. It is in a great location with easy access to town and beaches. We had so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the cool nights in the beautiful backyard. Thank you to our hosts for everything and a wonderful family getaway!

Perfect for families!

This house was awesome! It was full of charm and a kid’s dream! It was stocked with everything we needed and things we didn’t even know we needed. The kids had a blast and the neighborhood was adorable. It was close to everything and we fully expect to come back again!

Oh where to start!! Extremely clean, very organized with everything needed. Went above and beyond to provide essentials and “just in case” items!! Beds are extremely comfortable and all rooms are very clean! The outside was great for kids and adults! Wish we would have done a little less “running around the area” and enjoyed the fire pit and large kitchen table more!! Sleeps 7 very comfortably (if a kid likes the top bunk lol). Owner provided a binder full of area information. I can’t say enough good things about the property AND the owners AND what they provided!!

Perfect family vacation home

We have just spent a wonderful week’s holiday in Kennebunk Port while staying in this lovely family friendly home. The fully equipped craft room was the biggest hit for the kids and supplied them with hours of creative fun. There was more than enough room inside an out for our group of seven to enjoy together times and quiet alone times. Our host Michael went over and above what one would normally expect in ensuring we had everything needed to have a safe and very fun holiday. Many thanks Michael.

Better than anticipated

Opening the door, we recognized the scene from the website. House was more spacious than it appeared on line. Back yard was perfect for nighttime bonfires. Kitchen had everything you could have wanted from large refrigerator to spices and ingredients. The welcome basket was unexpected and wonderful. Totally recommend this location- from the property to the owner. Loved it!

Beautiful property

We loved our stay in Kennebunkport, ME and the property was an ideal location for our large family. The property was completely stocked with everything you could think of and/or need, with tons of activities for the kids. My two small children loved the craft room and enjoyed painting the rocks and seashells that were provided for them. The only suggestion I have (and we could have missed them) is to perhaps have gates for the stairs -- we have two small kids and both sets of stairs are very steep. Otherwise, the house and location were perfect! Thanks for letting us stay and enjoy the beautiful Maine weather!

A wonderful family vacation home!

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at Michael's place in Kennebunkport. Michael was attentive to all questions before and during the visit. And he left a welcome basket of goodies that was much appreciated after a long drive. The house is great for kids - the art room lives up to the hype, the monkey bars in the playroom were a hit, and a little pond a few feet from the house provided lots of entertainment. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with chipmunks and frogs as an extra bonus! Everything was neatly organized, accessible and easy to find in the house. Extremely comfortable beds and all the kitchen stuff you need to make lobster and more! We loved using the fire pit to roast marshmallows for s'mores. The walk from the house to downtown Kennebunkport was about 20-25 min, and the kids enjoyed it the handful of times we did it. We'd definitely come back. Thank you, Michael and family, for a memorable stay!

Great Stay

Michael put a lot of taught into everything at the house. Items were labeled, extra supplies were provided for any age/situation, and the marshmallows, roasting sticks, and fire spit were a hit with the kids. The kids also loved the bunk beds, swinging and making crafts for hours in the craft/home school room. The neighborhood was quiet and close to town and the beach. House was spotless. Mother’s Beach was close and perfect for children with a playground. Great visit. Only suggestion would be pillow topper for beds, as everyone thought they were very hard. Thanks for a great stay.

Great stay!

The house was well equipped and in a good location! The outdoor space was great, and the hosts had many thoughtful touches including fluffy towels, a welcome basket, and snacks. My husband and I walked to and from town, it was a nice pleasant walk but not one my parents or young children might be able to do. The house itself had some cobwebs throughout (which must be hard to avoid being in the woods in Maine). Overall great experience and we would definitely stay again!

Very nice place

This a beautiful house, that include everything you could possibly need and is exceptionally clean. They obviously like and welcome children. There were toys a cute art room and a big yard. All the beach equipment you could need. It’s an easy drive to town or the beach. Away from traffic in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Two things people should be aware of. Both sets of stairs are quite steep. Not a problem, just shocking at first because not kid friendly. Also the one bathroom upstairs is shared with 3 bedrooms. This can be a bit awkward unless you’re all family. Overall, though, it was an excellent place to stay and a beautiful house. We would definitely stay again if we make it back to Kennebunk Port. Wonderful host.

The Perfect Family Vacation

This place was ideal for our family vacation. It was perfect for our 2 children with plenty to do inside and outside and made us all feel like it was a home away from home. A great home helped to make it a great vacation!

Time away with kids and grandkids was the best! Made even better thanks to a wonderful home with attentive owners who thought of everything we may need or want! Not far from town and beaches where we spent lots of time. But also nice to have the private time at “home”. The craft room was a big hit? And anything we thought we needed was there! The house is very cool and is as advertised. 3 beds/1 bath upstairs. 1 bed/1bath downstairs. Great kitchen. 20 minute walk to downtown on semi-busy road with no sidewalk for most of the walk. 5 minute car ride to downtown. Cool house and lots of fun stuff for kids.

We are Michael and Kori and have 4 children ranging in age from 5 to 9 years old. We moved from Hingham, Mass to Kennebunkport, Maine in the Fall of 2016 in search of a lifestyle that was a little more laid back. We feel that Maine fits our priorities and lifestyle and we just couldn't be happier.

We are a homeschool family and most of Michael's business is internet based and allows him to run it from anywhere. So each summer we set off for 10 weeks, traveling coast to coast, with our 4 kids and only what fits in our car. Our goal is to live life and to give our kids hands-on educational experiences to gain a greater perspective and appreciation of life. We’ve seen Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Bend, OR, Steamboat Springs, CO, St. Helena Island, SC; the bayou in Louisiana, sunny California, and many points in between.

What we find on these adventures is amazing family time...being away from home, escaping everyday routine and just being a family without routine obligations. It shows our family different lifestyles, culture, and diverse countryside.
It gives us great joy to share our home with other families in search of their own adventure (big or small).
