Luxuriate in this bright and airy open plan, loft style home. You’ll find nothing quite like it anywhere in Los Angeles. This is the ground level of a 4 unit building. The entire apartment is 1800 sq ft, open plan with 15 foot high ceilings. Tall windows with French doors leading to a private patio and into a very large shared garden. A large open stage area to lounge and watch TV or listen to music. Natural light filled living room where you can relax in comfort. A large dining table seats 6. A breakfast counter facing the tree filled garden with a fabulous view of the city. Fully equipped kitchen with a four ring gas stove, there is no oven however there is a toaster oven, microwave and a bbq in the private patio.
A very comfortable queen bed tucked behind heavy rich velvet curtains. The bathroom is spacious with a large tub and shower. A walk in closet, ample storage throughout. Cool concrete floor. You won’t be disappointed. Minutes walk to Yamashiro restaurant, where you can dine overlooking Los Angeles and on a clear day, as far as the sea. Wonderful Stay

My husband, dog, and I stayed at this property for 7 weeks. Deirdre and Niall were wonderful and attentive hosts with prompt communication both prior to and during our stay. Deirdre met us when we checked in to show us around and then checked in with us a day into our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They were extremely thoughtful and kind throughout our stay and even arranged a special treat for one of our family members going through a difficult time. The loft was light, airy, clean, and very comfortable. There was plenty of space for us to work and live. The backyard was fantastic; my husband and I spent many evenings sitting outside, looking out over the city, while playing with our dog. The location was great with quick and easy access to the freeway. We would highly recommend this property for leisure, work, or vacation. We cannot say enough great things about the loft or the hosts!

My name is Deirdre, my husband Niall and I moved to Los Angeles from Ireland in the mid-eighties. We have two grown sons and a grandson. We love to meet new people and provide them the best possible experience, giving them a home away from home.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family since the late seventies. It's a magnificent example of Classic Spanish, Art Deco style architecture, popular in the late 20's early 1930's in California. Perched high in the Hollywood Hills, over looking the city with spectacular views.

What makes this property unique

It's hard to describe this building, no matter how many photos we post, most are pleasantly surprised. Very large, bright with a large shared garden
