Pool area and beach was nice. Cleanliness was not good (smelled like smoke/ musty when we first got there, most towels had stains on them, walls were dirty and woke up with a bunch of bug bites one morning.

Kihei Location is Great with close Beach/Pool Combo!

Sugar Beach Resort has a nice long walking beach! Summer months are windy and both pool and beach are affected. Resort is a 1977 condo which needs a bit of a make over and update.

Very Relaxing

We had a wonderful time in this condo. It’s on the first floor right near the pool which was great for relaxing without having to go to the pool. There is a little putt-putt green in front of the lanai but you need to bring your own equipment to play. You can easily walk to the beach and the beach hardly had anyone on it. Great place to relax and get away from the busier beaches of Kihei. The bedroom doesn’t have a normal fort though, it’s a sliding door to the shared bathroom.

The condo was comfortably set up, but was lacking in some areas. The Wi-Fi was very weak. Could not use iPad in bedroom. Constantly kicked off internet. Supplying BBQ utensils would be good. The location of the cable boxes was not good. Sugar Beach Resort is our favorite place to stay while on Maui. The staff is very cordial. The grounds are always well kept. Love walking the beach and watching the canoe clubs paddle.

#105 at Sugar Beach is perfectly located!! Bed is very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Note: difficulty keeping WiFi connection. Condo could use a bit of an update. The complex grounds, pool area, beach access are well groomed and peaceful Staff and amenities on the property are great. Be sure to visit Dina’s SandWitch!! Rental shop/convenience store has everything from snorkel needs to booking tours!!

Minimal supplies....

Liked the unit overall. Should consider a new sofa sleeper. It’s outdated and uncomfortable. Also, some beach chairs for guests would be nice!
