LUXURY LINENS PROVIDED AND BEDS ARE MADE FOR YOU!! Even the bedspreads and bath rugs are freshly laundered. I have several sets so you are not using the same linens as the prior guest.

Perfect location! Just a 3 minute walk to the beach and the iconic Neptune Statue! Walk to fabulous restaurants and shopping. Just blocks from the new Atlantic SURF PARK and The Dome entertainment venue!

This condo is fully permitted by the City of Virginia Beach and meets/exceeds all safety requirements!

As you open the door you will know that you have all you need for an extraordinary vacation experience! The spacious interior is light and bright! 4 1/2" shutters provide the ideal light control when you want it.

You will truly appreciate the designer furnishings, the modern lighting, deliciously comfortable beds, the Roku Smart TV's (55" in living room, 43" in the Primary Suite and 32" in the secondary bedroom) as well as the convenience of the high speed internet! The primary bedroom overlooks the pool and has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. (Pool is open 9 am to 9pm Memorial Day Weekend thru September 27th.

The fully stocked, recently remodeled kitchen has new granite countertops, gorgeous backsplash, Stainless appliances and under cabinet lighting. Plenty of cookware, storage containers, blender, kettle, and toaster for your convenience. For coffee drinkers, both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker is provided.

Harris Teeter's full service grocery store is right across the street, making it quick and easy to pick up anything you need. The iconic Neptune Statue, fabulous restaurants, shops, and attractions are all within close walking distance.

Lock the doors and return the keys
Please be sure to close and lock any windows you may have opened. No need to strip bed linens. Place towels/washcloths in bottom of shower or bathtub. Don't forget to leave the parking pass!!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please try to limit the amount of sand brought in from the beach.There is an outdoor shower at the NE corner of the parking lot for your convenience.
I love being able to provide beach gear for my guests. I just ask that at the end of your stay please leave the gear in good condition.
Please put food scraps in the trash instead of down the garbage disposal as much as possible to avoid a plumbing blockage.

This condo was immaculate, roomy, very well stocked, perfect all around. Our host was fantastic. There were great restaurants within walking distance, as well as smaller, less expensive options. The elevator was a plus for us, as the condo was on the 2nd floor. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely stay at this lovely condo again.

It was perfect!

My friend and I stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect. Very clean, comfy beds, kitchen had everything we needed. The property is a block to the beach and you can walk to stores, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Host was super helpful! Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our long term stay in this beautiful condo with an amazing location in the heart of downtown Virginia Beach. Our host had exceptional communication and was a pleasure. The area restaurants recommend by our host, boardwalk/beach and next door grocery store were such a plus. Would recommend to all our family and friends.

We had an incredible stay at this property. We walked into a fully-lit, clean condo to find a bottle of wine on ice waiting for us. This was a very nice personal touch, and we immediately felt at home.The bedrooms are very comfortable; we slept well each night. The kitchen was well-stocked with the appliances we needed for an enjoyable stay, particularly the Kuerig coffee maker. The living area was nicely set up for relaxing and movie watching after a day at the beach.The condo building is 2 1/2 blocks from the beachfront, so the trip from door to beach was only a few minutes of walking. A supermarket is right across the street, so we never had to worry about provisions. Cynthia ensured that everything was set up for us before we arrived, and there was never any sort of issue with building or room access. She was very quick to respond to any messages that we sent to her.Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences we've had, and we'll definitely be looking to stay here again when we visit Virginia Beach!

Great location walkable to so many great places to eat and shop. Clean and inviting condo that was perfect for our family vacation! We felt at home. Cindy has the perfect decor touch and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook a few meals in. We loved our stay and hope we get to make it back!

Best VRBO experience to date!

A Sea Glass Dream and its host Cynthia are fantastic! In a word, from booking to check out: smooth. The property is super clean, up to date, and very thoughtfully appointed. In my experience, many properties look great in the listing but disappoint IRL. Not this place - it's spotless, comfortable and did i mention CLEAN?! Beds are comfy, linens spotless. The building is located near just about every amenity you can think of. The beach is an easy walk (and Cynthia supplies a wagon to use to haul your stuff), the most amazing EVER donut shop is on the corner - Parlor Doughnuts, seriously, don't skip it - plenty of eateries, beach shops, Harris Teeter grocery store, and even indoor glow-in-the-dark mini golf are within minutes walking distance. Also, shout out to Atlantic on Pacific restaurant/bar, fantastic food and cocktails! The building pool is clean and well maintained. I traveled with a friend, her niece and the niece's 10 YO daughter. I was the main contact for the trip and found Cynthia a delight to work with. She kept me inforned, offered tips and suggestions, and left a lovely welcome surprise for us - pastries and a bottle of wine on ice :-) We've already decided to come back again and stay at A Sea Glass Dream!

Virginia Beach Gem

This meticulously maintained, spotless condo within a short walk of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk exceeded our expectations and met all our needs for an extended stay. The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to even do some holiday baking! The appliances are top notch. And the interior design is lovely, the furniture clean and cozy. Whether you are solo, as I was much of the time, or sharing the space with family and friends, it's a great spot to explore everything the beach has to offer. Don't miss dining at nearby Terrapin and May's Parlor, the best bakery in town located right around the corner. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Home

My husband and I along with our two boys age 8 and 2 had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo. Cynthia really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Upon arrival she had a very thoughtful gift waiting for us. The condo is extremely clean, the beds are comfy, and plenty of extra towels/toiletries were provided. We were very happy that Cynthia provided a beach wagon along with sand toys and brand new beach towels. The beach was a short easy walk and we enjoyed spending time walking the boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and a grocery store all within walking distance. If you’re looking for a wonderful little breakfast/lunch spot we highly recommend Mays! Wonderful pastries, sandwiches and my favorite was the Mint Lemonade! We can not say enough about this beautiful condo! We are already talking about booking for next year!

Dream Vacation

After a year of not traveling due to the pandemic, our family needed a refreshing break which we found at the Sea Glass Dream. I was first captivated by the vibrant colors, layout, and warmness that I felt when viewing the pictures. Afterward each contact with the owner, Cynthia, had be ready for vacation several months ahead of schedule. Then when we arrived...WOW...it was much more than we expected. We were met at the front door with the fresh, clean scent that was inviting to all of the senses. The location was perfect and in walking distance to everything: dining, beach, brewery, and fun spots for our teen sons. The pool was always a great option when we didn't want to travel to the beach. I could go on and on and would definitely recommend that if you are looking for a great vacation, with wonderful hospitality and cleanliness venture to A Sea Glass Dream Vacation!!!

Book it!

You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been renting condos almost every year for the past 20 years. This unit is unbelievable and was my favorite. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived and we’ll stocked with basics like dish soap, laundry soap pods, disposable razors, sample bottles of shampoo and lotion. Cynthia the owner goes above and beyond with the little details supplying this unit. The chilled bottle of wine and box of cupcakes waiting for our arrival was a surprise and hit the spot after a long drive. Thanks again it made us smile on our arrival. There is a grocery store literally behind the condo you can walk to. The beach and boardwalk is a couple blocks away for a short walk to the sand and restaurants. Thanks again and I look forward to our next trip to Virginia Beach.

Better Than Described

If you have been using private vacation rentals for any length of time, you already know that there is a moment of ...anxious anticipation when you first open the door: Will the property really be as pictured and described? Relieve yourselves of that worry here. The Sea Glass Dream is a dream come true the moment you open the door and are met with a stunningly clean, bright, cheerfully upbeat and modern condo. And, it smelled good to boot! I was so relieved to find this place to be exactly as described-- better than described, actually- and so perfectly appointed in each room. The very thoughtful and tasteful decor and materials of the furnishings genuinely give you the sense of water...of sea glass...of clean lines and soothing colors and textures. Read: beach perfect. I'm used to bringing everything with me on these stays, from a sharp knife to coffee filters--not needed here! The kitchen was stocked with every essential and I was particularly impressed with the thoughtfulness of razors and shaving cream in both baths. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't offer that. I didn't even need my Roku which I'd brought. The condo simply has anything that you might need or want. Cynthia's precise and immediate responses are a winner, although I didn't need much of anything once my dates were inked. She made every attempt to accommodate me on the dates and early check in as well. Check in was a breeze, the building which houses the condo is a good one, well maintained and managed. The pool is cute--very clean. Just small. We didn't use it much because the pool area was just too crowded with guests most times to be comfortable for us. Ample parking is available and as if it couldn't get any better: there is a Harris Teeter grocery store literally across the street. If you are considering this property, feel confident in booking. You won't regret it. It's a little over a block off the beach, an easy and quick walk to the boardwalk with everything ELSE that you might desire (I strongly recommend doing one of the dolphin kayak tours at First Landing State Park with Bryan at GoKayak!) A Sea Glass Dream really is a dream come true if you are heading to Virginia Beach. The condo is walking distance to the beach/boardwalk and many excellent eateries. The unit itself is pristine and very comfortable. The sea glass themed decor is so nicely done. Cynthia is the best host we have ever dealt with using VRBO and we are frequent travelers.We had to have a package mailed to us (unexpectedly) during our stay and Cynthia generously helped us make it happen. We hope to return the next time Virginia Beach is our destination. Thank you, Cynthia (and Jeff) for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely loved this rental! I have done hotels and rentals in Virginia Beach and this was by far my favorite. I stayed with my husband and 3 y/o daughter and we had a blast. First, the condo was very clean, nicely set up and decorated with quality furnishings, etc. - not junk. The location was amazing - 1.5 blocks to an open access to the beach in a nice area walking distance to some great restaurants. Very easy to grab groceries at Harris Teeter next door. Cynthia was so easy to work with. Will definitely be booking again!

This is a wonderful unit - immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, filled with light and spacious. The location cannot be beat: at the quieter, family end of the beach, but within a few blocks of stores, restaurants, bars and activities. The pool was cleaned every morning and gave residents an option when red flags flew on the beach. The host, Cynthia, could not have been more amenable and she worked with us every step of the way, allowed an earlier entry time and answered all my questions promptly. We had debated renting a 1BR/1BA "suite" for our family, but I am so glad that we found this condo instead, for only a slightly higher price. We were one block from the beach and even my 7 year old grandson easily walked that each day. It was an easy drive to the Va. Beach Aquarium, a big hit, and many restaurants and stores. There is a fancy donut shop on one corner and a fudge/candy shop on the other corner; my grandson was in heaven! I knew my teenaged granddaughter could safely walk to stores from our building during the day, which made her feel very independent. The unit itself was like a "vacation for the eyes", as my grandson stated. Indeed - this is not a basic rental unit in a resort area; this is designed for a luxurious vacation stay, with everything you would need at your fingertips. We cooked, used the washer/dryer, sat on the balcony and enjoyed our beach days. I would return in a heartbeat - especially since Cynthia allowed shorter stays when we were there.

Our family of four, including two small children, had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! It was recently updated, spotlessly clean, and in the perfect location—just steps from the beach and close to everything we needed. The space was comfortable and kid-friendly, making it easy to relax. The host was incredibly nice, responsive, and so accommodating throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb, and it did NOT disappoint. Communication with Cynthia was quick and easy throughout the weeks leading up to and during our stay. As you walked in, you could smell the clean and fresh condo. The kitchen was so clean, there was not a single smudge or fingerprint on the cabinets or counter. The living room, dining room, bathrooms, and bed rooms were clean and organized. The condo and decorations stayed true to the theme 'A Sea Glass Dream!', and was pleasant to the eyes. All of the decorations, towels, and beddings were to the theme, and even had a smart TV in each of the rooms for entertainment. The bathrooms were so painfully clean, there was not a single strand of hair to be seen. The baseboards were dust-free which was helpful for my family with asthma. When our beach umbrella broke, the condo provided a tent/ alternative umbrella that we used. The condo provided cleaning supplies, toiletries, plastic containers (used them so often with our love for beach snacks), basic ingredients/ seasonings, dishes and utensils, and detergent and fabric softener for the washer and dryer. Everything was so well thought of, and the cherry on top was Cynthia's kindness, honesty, and generosity. Cynthia provided us donuts from a local place on the first day that on our last day, we went back to buy some and bring them home. This was such a perfect experience for us that we would happily stay here again on our next visit to Virginia Beach!

My family of 4 had spent 3 nights at this property and we definitely will come back next year. Everything in the condo was in excellent shape and Cynthia was the best host who communicated everything clearly and accurately. The condo was spotless when we arrived. All the conveniences of home were readily available- coffee pot, electric kettle, washer and dryer and detergent, beach chairs and towels. Cynthia was an amazing host who communicated before our stay and was available to answer a quick question when we arrived. We have stayed at La Playa before and love the location - 2 blocks from the beach, quiet and safe, with a supermarket across the street for anything you need. Walkable to many restaurants and breweries. All in all a great week in Va Beach!

Lovely place, very clean and decorated tastefully! Great location! The only problem we ran into was we had to wait two hours out in the hallway in front of the condo because Cynthia forgot to set the four digit number I provided into the lock to be able to enter. Up until this time, she was always very responsive, but she happened to be on vacation at this time and was obviously distracted. We were all extremely tired and had to use the restroom, and there are no additional restrooms in the Playna Rana (sp?)… only ones in the individual condos, obviously. For this reason we had to ask someone who happened to be cleaning out another condo if they minded if we use the restroom there…which thankfully they did not mind. We were very excited just to get in unpack and rest after our 10 hour drive from north of Pittsburgh, PA. Again, in Cynthia‘s defense, she was on vacation. Would absolutely stay again!!

Cynthia is hands down the best host I’ve ever interacted with. She took the time to reach out and explain the check in prior to the trip, and the communication provided made for an easy and seamless check-in. The place itself has wonderful decor, and everything was so clean and tasteful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and extra care was put in to the entire layout and experience. The location is absolutely perfect , just blocks from the beach and walkable to grocery, restaurant and shops. Perhaps the nicest host I’ve ever had, as Cynthia even mailed me back a forgotten item. My visit was work related, but I felt like I was on vacation due to vibe of this perfect apartment.

I fell in love with Virginia Beach when I first visited in 1998. Sunrise on the beach is nothing short of magical! I am so happy to have the opportunity to now live here and share with you my beautiful beach condo! As a mom of 3 grown children and grandmother of 4, I know how important it is for you and your family to have a clean, safe, and fun environment for your vacation experience. I love hosting and work very hard to provide a five star experience for every one of my guests.

Why they chose this property

The condo building is in an ideal location in the heart of the resort area. It is within walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and attractions. I like that the building is secure with a key lock entry and is right across the street from Harris Teeter grocery store. The parking lot is well lit and there are security cameras on the exterior of the building as well as the interior common hallways. It is a fun, family oriented community and no parties or events are allowed.

What makes this property unique

A Sea Glass Dream has been fully renovated and no expense was spared with the modern interior design, decor and furnishings. It is an end unit on the southeast side of the building so there is more privacy and a lot of light! It is no problem tho, if you want to sleep in late because the windows have 4 1/2" shutters so you can have as much or as little light as you wish.

You will also not find a cleaner condo! The brand new HVAC system is equipped with an air purifier so it is great for allergy sufferers. I use the newest Dyson Detect vacuum that even filters out bacteria and viruses. Everything is cleaned and disinfected to the highest standards. Unlike most vacation rentals, ALL linens, including bedspreads and bath rugs are freshly laundered. I even iron the sheets! The condo is prepared by me for your stay as if you were my own family. My guests have loved every minute of their vacation in A Sea Glass Dream. I know you and your family will also!
