This was a lovely home. I think that bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and we searched the comforter for a tag because I loved it so much. Our host was great responding to any questions. You could not beat the location. We took many walks around the neighborhood, hit all the local shops and we ate at River's Edge and Skipper's both in walking distance and we went over the bridge to Mudcat Charlie's one night. I recommend all of those.

Wonderful stay

We alway enjoy going down for the blessing of the fleet, And I always try to book this house or the one bedroom behind the main house, It is easy access to all the entertainment and only 20 minutes from st Simon island where we always visit to eat and walk the town!!!

Great historic home , excellent location

Loved this charming home. It is close to a couple great places to eat. The house is nice and has lots of interesting historical info, both about the house and the town. Enjoyed our stay here

A wonderful get away

We spent a week at the property and it was exactly as described, easy to get to, centrally located, walking distance to restaurants, able to enjoy area highlights and then come home to a quiet and relaxing environment.

Cute home in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay. The key pad lock at the front door is malfunctioning. We discovered that when the code is entered the lock moves a bit, but not enough to clear completely to allow the door to open. Thank you for having a back up plan in place.

Another great stay

The host is prompt and professional with communication. The property is very clean and the a/c works nicely in the main bedroom that we use. It’s a great location for a quick stroll to dinner after a day in the car in transit. Will stay again!

Great Stay in Darien

My friends and I spent one night in Darien on our way to Florida. We were so glad we found this great home instead of rooms at a chain hotel! The location was perfect, the house was charming, and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We all agreed we would stay here again!

Family visit in Darien.

Great old historic home in a great location. Close to downtown, so easy getting around. Our only surprise was an additional VRBO in the garage in the back yard, so we had unexpected company. Great visit overall and we would return.

Anniversary trip to Darien

This house has so much character and is decorated beautifully. Everything was super clean and all appliances worked perfectly. Located in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything. Darien is an interesting town and served as our home base for travels to Savannah and Brunswick.

Quiet Southern Charm

This was a perfect waypoint on our journey. Located in a quaint quiet neighborhood with towering moss covered oaks with quick access to I-95. This home has old world charm and modern convenience.

Great house

This home is exactly like the listing said and showed on the web page. Clean, comfortable, in a great family friendly neighborhood. We walked to dinner which was a treat after being in a car all day.

Easy to find, clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Well equipped for cooking. Excellent host responsiveness to questions. Great location for walking to the waterfront, the historic downtown (town plan compliments of James Oglethorpe), restaurants, and Ft. King George. Easy access to St. Simons and Sapelo Island. Wonderful stay.

Great find!

We were happy to find such a wonderful place for our overnight stop on our way to NC. It was an adorable and quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and it had everything you could want, including coffee, plush towels and more. Add in that we could walk to a wine shop and seafood dinner after a day in the car … we will definitely stay again!!
