Close to skiing but otherwise Meh

The location for skiing little cottonwood is excellent! However, besides that, the condo is kind of depressing. There is no outdoor space. The unit gets almost no natural light, and just feels a little dank. The unit is full of little glade-style fragrance units which is definitely not something that everyone enjoys. The kitchen is tired, and the most under-equipped VRBO kitchen I've been in recently. There's literally NO spatula, one spice (cinnamon), no oil, vinegar, no nothing. Thankfully, there is a Smith's 2 minutes from the unit. We had a major issue with the dryer while we were there, which was a pain because we didn't realize until midnight and needed all the clothes for the next day. The dryer vent was clogged and the dryer wouldn't run. The management company responded mid-morning, but by that point our day had been disrupted. Worth noting - one of the bedrooms is down in the basement, while the others are upstairs. If you are traveling with very young kids, you may not be comfortable sleeping two floors away from your kids.

Nice location, very average accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location, especially if you stay in the winter for skiing. Place was clean, but very outdated. Beds were comfortable and towels were nice. Carpet was very old and buckling everywhere, our one year old grand baby tripped several times on the uneven floor. Fridge leaked and we could not get hot water from the kitchen faucet, made it very hard to clean dishes. We asked for an early check in but were told they could not accommodate but would let us know if it became available earlier. We didn’t hear from them but when we arrived 10 min before check in we could not get in, lock would not work until exactly 4:00. We landed at 10:00am with two little kids that needed naps( which we had told them, thus the request for early check in)at 3:50 it was clearly ready and unoccupied so we were disappointed and it seemed very petty to not allow entry 10 min early. Overall don’t think we would stay again.

Short Utah Stay

The property was very nice, we had 4 adults and 8 children and all fit very well. Had a problem with a bathtub not draining well but was taken care of very quickly. The fridge leaked water from underneath, unfortunately it never got taken care of. But overall the place is really nice.

We were so grateful to get this rentsl so quickly due to a previous reservation that was canceled on us last min. However we had to wait all day with stuff in our car to check-in. But other than that the house was perfect for our family vacation.
